A hole was also drilled in my mouth by mistake during a filling and nothing was said. When I got home and the numbing wore off and I looked in my mouth I could see an almost dime-size hole in the back of my mouth. There was also a wad of bloody gauze by the hole, so clearly they knew they injured me but said nothing. It was painful and difficult to eat anything for a few days. The staff (Dr. Fraizer & assistant) never said anything while I was there and I had to call myself and tell them, and they didn't even believe me until I emailed a photo to them. Ever since Dr. Frazier left it has gotten much worse than it already was. There has always been a high turnover rate in staff since I have been a patient there. There is a new face every time I come, so there is never the same person working on my teeth. It's an unsettling feeling as someone who already has anxiety about the dentist. At my most recent 6 month cleaning I didn't see the doctor until over an hour after my appointment time. I was there in total over an hour and a half. The doctor, hygienists, and assistants were bouncing between patients the whole time I was there. During my exam I barely felt her scrape my teeth to remove plaque. And once I got home and looked at my teeth to no surprise there was still a high percentage of plaque left on my teeth. At least when Dr. Fraizer was there she cleaned my teeth thoroughly. This place is unprofessional and exams are rushed. Thankfully I'm moving soon so I won't have to come back to this place. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Typically I'm not one to complain but this is the worst dental experience I've had in my life.

Then the hygienist came in , and after thirty minutes asked "do you feel like there is anymore plaque on your teeth?" ... that isn't my job to tell. They must've been short staffed because she had to stop my cleaning to go clean another patients teeth instead of finishing . Fast forward a month later , I get a consult with a different office , took new X-rays , and BEHOLD, the dentist told me I had no cavities . If you are told you have cavities , get a second opinion before letting someone drill into your teeth and compromising your tooth. The front office was great, the staff wasn't bad at all, but don't fool people into a procedure if it isn't necessary.

Easy access to get to the office and they are right off the elevator. Nice lobby and was greeted upon entry and given the normal new patient routine. I already forgot his name. Tisk tisk. Anyhoo the exam went fine and I appreciate that he gave recommendations for next steps as I wouldn't be returning to this office for the repair. The office is beautiful too. Need I say more?

SmileCOS really made the difference. Everyone was so kind and helped to put me at ease. I like to ask many questions about my care and how to take care of my teeth. My hygenist, Jenna, was amazing with answering my questions and helping me to feel comfortable. I appreciate the thoroughness from the x-rays and photos taken of my teeth. Jenna also gave me great advice to help me better care for my gums. Alexis helped to further ease any other concerns by explaining the consultation visit with the dentist. Every step of the way I felt so cared for. Dr. Darquea also did great with explaining everything so well! Also, thank you to Andrea who checked me in and Elena who took care of me at check out! Y'all definitely have a new patient for sure!

If you're a busy professional who may need to make last-minute (or even 48-hour changes) to your schedule, this practice won't work for you. This is compounded by their reduced office hours -- some partial days, etc. during the week. And yet, if you have a dental emergency and try to get in at the last minute, you just can't -- or it's very difficult. Generally not very accommodating. I also I had an implant procedure that didn't go well -- the implant post fell out of my mouth after a 1 1/2-hour bone graft procedure to put it in. While I was patient with this situation, they don't extend the same flexibility and courtesy to their patients.

It took perhaps two sentences for me to realize I was not being spoken to by a real person. I asked if it was a real person speaking to me and it said it was. Then, although my name is Rebecah, not an uncommon name, it referred to me repeatedly as REBicca. It asked me about how I came to have dental problems, and after I said it started when my family joined a three ring circus and then later, when I went above the atmosphere in a Space X craft, for which the voice congratulated me, lol, I hung up. It repeated itself, and interrupted several times. Inefficient product, to say the least. It's quite wrong and inappropriate to not inform people right away that the voice is an AI program. If this practice can't afford a real person to respond to inquiries, and doesn't care about patients enough to make calls in person, I want no part of it.

went in to get a partial denture. When I went in for fitting on a Tuesday May 23,2023…read morethey practically tied me down and started screaming at me that "dammit there was decay there on both teeth". I had called them the prior Wednesday when my crown had fallen off. They told me they couldn't see me until the next week when I had a partial denture fitting.. I thought that was too long a time for an infection to not be addressed. especially since they said there was decay and that I needed crowns on those two teeth ,, well they didn't have time and then , Then someone at the office said,, ""you can glue it in yourself"" !!! That's when I called my other dentist, and he got me in. Dr R said " that I didn't need 2 crowns. There was only one that was needed. Did I want him to fix it and I said yes do that " he prepared a new crown. that would be ready in two weeks ,, the next day I go in for a fitting of my denture , Dr U, at North End Dental, had some kind of meltdown !!! "" screaming at me that there was still infection ,, there was still infection !!! That they needed to be fixed."" the teeth that had been worked on the day before,, and that had been prepared by surgery , Well, they didn't think it had been done correctly. I've got people with knives in my mouth. I'm supposed to be getting a fitting. I didn't come in and start yelling at them that they were liars " That I didn't need crowns."" I just thought well maybe they're stupid and they just don't know what they are looking at, but I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt,, they practically tied me to the chair so they could dig in my mouth and do oral surgery on two teeth that had had surgery the day before! They yelled and bullied me and were so upset that they were goin to lose their money for two crowns, one which didn't need a crown,, They said " I needed two crowns" , but I didn't , and here they are yelling at me that they didn't chance to do them first! If I had gone to them the week before, they would have done two crowns, , and I would've never known that they had lied to me about needing new crowns ,, I have PTSD from Dentist Doing unnecessary surgery on me. I'm taking them to small claims court for "Unneeded surgery " and now they don't want to give me my partial denture so, no product delivered. When you go in watch out, it's like a timeshare presentation , an hour of photos. Why do people go into healthcare who don't really care about people ? I'm guessing , they thought they were goin to make a lot of money, by being a doctor ,, and they paid thousands and thousands of dollars for their marketing, which any small business person will tell you ,, "cannot be advertised into existence!! ". You must to get to know people and build your clientele . These people are not in healthcare. This is just a business to them.

They deserve a 5 star rating. But an office is only so good as the back office staff. When we're spending many $thousands on anything, in this case our mouths, it would seem we deserve competent billing. Today, I was charged ($$$) for the second time, for my doctor's review and confirmation of his original diagnosis from the last visit, for which I was also charged ($$$). No work was done on my teeth then or today. I have two dental plans, both of which cover 100% of diagnostic examinations. I questioned why I was being billed again for covered services, pointing to the patient record on their screen verifying the insurance coverage. The response was an argument. Then, as I prepared to leave, I was required to pay *in advance* for dental work which may or may not be done at my next visit. (!!) Other medical billers will make a phone to verify coverage. Not here. They bill you. This is unfortunate. The doctors at Premier Dental deserve more competent support. So do we, the patients.
