You are receiving this notice b/c you have indicated a strong interest to me in attending the Free Actor's training workshop that is being offered at "A Quest Actor's Studio" by it's founder, Ms. Debra Crosby, on Tuesday, April 7th at 7pm. As your friend and fellow craftsperson, I can personally attest to the quality of her instruction/guidance and the effectiveness of her methods. I've experienced firsthand the value of the techniques and exercises that are freely shared during her introductory session - no hard sell techniques are applied during or after the class. For any one of us that are serious about honing our skills in the craft of acting for film, stage and/or commercial work, this valuable and insightful instruction is a product that tends to sell itself. Obviously Ms. Crosby seeks to grow her student enrollment for her weekly classes; this, however, is a novel & generous way for her to offer substantive "test drives" to each of us as prospective regular students. She was enrolled in a week of theater and multiple weeks of art instruction with a wide array of art classes to choose from. With an artshow each Friday, we enjoyed the opportunity to see the the kids amazing artwork on display. We ended up with multiple frame-worthy pieces, one of which the clerk at the frame shop said she'd never have guessed was created by a 6 year old, it was that good. My daughter had a great time, the staff was fantastic, they offered before and after care which was critical for us working full time and we were incredibly pleased by the overall experience. We re-enrolled for February vacation, are planning for summer camp, and see ourselves as lasting patrons for the years to come.

Wild Salamander adds a refreshing community center to our town where families can come together in a fun and inviting environment. The owners care deeply about art, community, and education; it's great to see the area support a business like this! I only wish it was here when I was young. I've been enjoying my class on pastels, and am looking forward to more classes in the future for me and my family. The teachers too are true professionals in the area equally devoted to sharing their passions. Also! I had not realized this until going: there is a small shop with local arts and crafts that's open to the public during the day. They have unique and thoughtful gifts for Christmas, birthdays, and other events. A local art center that provides children's classes as well as adult ones. They range from painting…read moreto ceramics to stained glass, with a lot of one shot deals (book making or Raku (which looks totally cool)) I took the stained glass class and it was great. You buy a few supplies, but most of it can be found at the center including a lot of scrap glass that is perfect for your first projects. I made an owl panel, a ghost, a Patriots logo, a frame, and two maple leaves in the course of the class. You go at your own pace and everyone is fairly nice. Lots of parking, right by the All things Sicilian store that I always meant to go into but never have.

My children took classes for a couple of years. Mostly the children enjoyed them a lot. The last…read moretime we signed up was when the teacher threw out a bunch of ceramics within a few days of the class ending and without warning that we would not even be able to return on the regularly scheduled day to pick them up. I don't know why the kids did not receive all their ceramics to that point or why an email or flier wasn't given to the parents telling us the deadline but the communication was completely absent. After that I figured we would stick to different art centers.
