Wendy's realtors know little to nothing about building quality, materials, or construction nor do they have any taste. They don't listen to feedback about preferences. Since moving to DC, nearly every other realtor I've met has been more intelligent, thoughtful, and honest about guiding clients through the incredibly important life decision of buying a home. Look elsewhere and or live with the consequences.

The group's use of technology was also exciting and unexpected. Their website's interface was clean and easy to use on my mobile devices. So after 2 years of sharing an apartment together and getting married, my wife and I began the hunt for our first home and selected Gretchen and the Koitz group as our Realtors. There is not one bad thing we could say about the process we went through buying our first house with them. Never pushy, Gretchen and her staff believe strongly in educating the buyer to empower them to make an informed decision. They are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in both about the area and in the process and all of the details that everything went smooth as silk. They listened well to what we were looking for and continually brought interesting and appealing opportunities to us. Even when we had issues with one house vs another (which always come up, it's just part of finding the perfect house for yourself), they were always understanding, attentive, and diligent so as to then come back to us with new suggestions that incorporated our feedback. This past January we celebrated our 3 year anniversary of buying our first home. We fell in love the first time we walked through it, and have been in love with it since the day we got the keys. We owe many thanks to Gretchen and her amazing team. We now see why our friend trusts Gretchen so much, and we certainly plan on using her again in the future for any of our real estate needs.
