Today I received 10 fillings in a matter of an 1 &1/2 hours. I had no idea I even needed…read more10fillings. I was told I needed 2 fillings. Dr Owens joked with me saying I was going to be numb all day. I had so much numbness that I couldn't swallow, my nostrils were numb my left ear was numb and I have so much pain in my jaw. I have a medical condition that is noted in my file and this extreme procedure triggered symptoms which made the difficulty swallowing even worse. I paid cash for a crown previously and received great care,but with my Medicare dental insurance Dr decided to do all 10 filling in one sitting I am in so much pain and discomfort! Be very aware if you go in with Medicare insurance! I need 3 of these fillings filed down and my tongue is cut on the side and I am terrified to go back in!

I…read morehad wondered where he went after working in Jackson TN but I did not know how to spell his name so I could not Google him. He was one of the trauma doctors that treated my husband for 6 or 7 weeks starting in January of 2011 after he was hit by a car while walking. I was thinking about Dr. Sooriash a few days ago because this time two years ago I wanted to take my husband to a Cardinal baseball game and I was asking him if he thought my husband would be able to go in May. Of course he did not say "yes". My husband did not come home till the last day of July and could barely walk! Dr. Sooriash had to do an emergency ileostomy on my husband early one morning besides all the other tests and treatment decisions he made to keep him alive. My husband is a miracle. Dr. Sooriash is a good doctor.
