I've had two years of ongoing issues with my 2020 Outback-the screen blacking out/locking up and losing everything connected to it-navigation, ventilation, radio, cameras, etc. It is a known issue with the '20 Outback, a distraction and safety issue but Subaru disagrees. Numerous trips to the dealer, several updates and a new radio unit installed and it still persists. . I contacted Subaru of America Customer Advocacy, initially responsive but then it was crickets. Kimmel & Silverman Lemon Law Firm (K&S) was invaluable in our obtaining a fair and equitable settlement from Audi/Volkswagen. We started out with another Lemon Law firm in February 2019. In May 2019, they were still stringing us along with meager settlement offerings for a problem with our Audi Q7 for which there was no repair or resolution. Then, they wanted money to represent us in court. We contacted K&S on June 4, 2019. We received an acceptable offer on June 20, 2019. (Sixteen days!) The car was returned on July 11, 2019, and we received the check the same day. Not only did K&S settle our Lemon Law case in a very timely manner, they are also dealing with the first Lemon Law firm who are still trying to get money from us! I hired Kimmel & Silverman to prosecute my Lemon Law claim for my new car, which started exhibiting intolerable body rattles less than one week after I purchased it. The dealership, with assistance of a factory technical representative, was unable to solve the problems after multiple attempts, and after I'd been in a loaner car for more than a month. Ms. Jacqueline Herritt took my case as my car was to go in for repair for the fourth time. Her steadfast representation relieved me of all of the burden of fighting myself for my rights. And I didn't have to pay a dime in legal fees. Once Ms. Herritt became my attorney, she handled all of the difficult tasks associated with demonstrating to the vehicle manufacturer that my car was defective, and that I was not required by law to accept--and live with--the very annoying body rattles. Let me start off by saying that if you are looking for a lemon law firm, look no further. The service that I recieved fro Kimmel and Silverman (specifically Bob Silverman and Gracie Klein) was truly exemplary. Had it not been for their diligence, understanding, and professionalism, my wife and four children would still be driving around in an extremely unsafe vehicle. We initially lessed a new Chevy SUV in July of 2016. On two occasions, within two weeks in August of 2106, the vehicle completely shut down as my wife was driving. All power was lost, making for an extremely unsafe situation. Luckily, both occasions ended without incident. After two trips to the dealer, the dealer keeping the car for a week, and multiple calls to GM, we were basically told that the car was fine and they couldn't help us. Initially we hired a somewhat inexperienced firm to handle our case. After being strung along for three months with limited contact from our attorney, I was told that the chances of winning the case were slim, and I might be better off just keeping the car. This was not an acceptable solution for me, so I discharged that firm, and then luckily I found Kimmel and Silverman. From the outset Bob Silverman was extremely helpful and professional. Both he and Gracie kept in close contact with me throughout the process, and all of my calls and emails were returned within the same day (usually within the same hour!) I never felt that I was being rushed off of the phone. In fact, they made me feel as if I were their top priority. Bob was realistic throughout the process, and kept me informed of possible snags along the way, as he worked on my case. In the end, the result was truly amazing! During the time that we had been going through this process, I had been renting a car, as I felt the Chevy was too unsafe to drive. We racked up some pretty hefty rental expenses during the time that our case was being resolved. Not only was Bob able to get GM to buy back our vehicle, he also got them to reimburse all of our rental payments and all of our lease payments. I purchased a brand new 2021 Corvette Convertible. After waiting 8 months to take delivery, the day finally arrived. The sales man was going over the options and how to use everything before I drove out of the lot. When he went to demonstrate how the convertible top worked, it didn't. I waited at the dealer for over two hrs for them to fix it. Less than two weeks later it fails to operate again. Well the problem persisted and the car went back for the 3rd time in 2 months. All i could imagine was being far from home with the top down and it starts to rain. There was a good chance the top would not go up. I called GM myself to see if they had a fix for this problem or how they would handle this issue if i got stuck somewhere and I couldn't get the top to go up. They were very unsympathetic and all i was told was, OK we will make a note of your concern's. I got no solution or satisfaction from GM. After the 3rd attempt, i decided to look into the Lemon Law. I googled Lemon Law and the site For Kimmel Silverman came up. I decided to call and ask what they could offer for help. I spoke with a gentleman named Jermie Robinson. He painted such a bright picture I found it hard to believe. we talked about 15 minutes and after that conversation I felt so relieved that there was someone that could help me. He asked that I send my VIN # and some other info for them to get started. He stated there would be no cost for this help and it was all free. I sent the requested info in as asked and was told there would be a package sent out to me with all the info I needed. . That night i started to have reservations. I had always been told , if it sounds too good to be true it more than likely isn't. I did receive the package and it spelled out everything Jeremie had told me and it also contained a letter that the attorney assigned to my case had sent to GM. I was really doubting this process and again thinking it was too good to be true. so I called in to voice my concern. I was told someone would contact me . That evening a Mr. Michael Sacks reached out to me. WE talked for almost an hour . He was extremely knowledgeable and took his time explaining the process and my rights. He told me to take a few days and think about it and if I decided to not go forward that they would retract the letter to GM.
