I also learned that the Sewing Box not only provided uniforms for the pilots, but also the entire flight crew! As a citizen of the United States, I have always been impressed by the quality and appearance of the Blue Angels' uniforms. After looking into the history of the contract, I was surprised to learn that The Sewing Box provided that level of quality at a significantly lower cost than the bid associated with the new contract.
