Preston Kincaid is a proficient and approachable Home Inspector. I hired him to inspect the home that I am in contract to purchase. I highly recommend him. Preston adjusted his schedule to fit my narrow 5 day window for home inspection. Not only did he complete the inspection within the time frame but he also completed and forwarded his detailed easy to comprehend report within 2 days post inspection. His report contained multiple pictures per deficiency and gave a recommendation on how to best remediate the issue. His inspection report of the property was over 90 pages and was forwarded to both myself and my Realtor. I cannot tell you how much better I have slept knowing that the most expensive purchase of my life is a safe and smart purchase because of the attentive, thorough, and highly detailed home inspection completed by Preston Kincaid. I have followed Preston for years on TikTok just for educational and entertainment value but when it came to spending my own money for a house, I knew I wanted him to do my home inspection. Further, I live in Rochester, NY and Preston traveled to do my inspection...he will travel for you as well!!!! He was worth every single penny, and I have already given his name to others. Listen...in my area many home buyers are waiving their inspection and are engaged in bidding wars because that is the only way to get a house. Our inventory is so small in this area and people are spending a tremendous amount of money to purchase. Even if you waive your inspection to secure your home, get an inspection by Preston after you close. Forget the new furniture or new TV until after he does your inspection so that you know what's up with your house. I would say that is a true recognition of his knowledge, integrity, and professional standard by peers in this profession. A Final Note: Because Preston has integrity and is an ethical home inspector, he has become somewhat of a target for reasons I cannot fully comprehend or explain. I hired this company for a home inspection a few weeks ago. They were setting up cameras in my house and I asked what that was for and the man said it was part of the seismic inspection to see how the house would react in an earthquake. But they left them set up and they haven't been back in weeks and they won't answer the phone. Seems very unprofessional. read more
