I definitely enjoyed the privacy as it was just myself and Susanne the entire time. It was my first time ever having a professional massage and it was incredible. I was in desperate need of a massage while working out of town. This place had great reviews, and just felt like I good fit with what I was after. From walking in, getting settled, the intentionality of the massage experience, to making sure I got to my car safely, I don't think I've ever felt so cared for during a spa service. There were so many little extra perks that made it feel personalized and well worth the money. In regards to the massage itself, maybe the best technique and most natural rhythm I have come across. Her massage felt well studied, purposefully orchestrated. It felt like a yoga flow at times. I left completely rested and incredibly thankful that I stopped in. Was it a good massage? Yes Was it ahhhhmazing and I need to schedule another one for 2 weeks from now?? No The space is odd. It is in an old home, and the massage area is downstairs. So it is low ceilings, basement-ish. It doesn't scream TRANQUILITY (not that tranquility would SCREAM, but you know what I mean...). Instead of a curtain, the window was blocked with a pillow (odd...). There were no calming scents - candles or armatherapy. It was just sort of a massage table in a basement room with a pink salt lamp. The SOUND TRACK was nice. I liked the ocean sounds the best - with my eyes closed I could imagine I was on the beach. Suzanne was nice but not all that interactive. It is not like I want a massage therapist to yak at me while working (I hate that) but there was not a single "how is this pressure" or anything. I am glad I went - I really needed a massage. But the place needs a bit of "spa-if-ying" to make it feel more welcoming. read more

What an awesome massage! As a chiropractor, I appreciate good bodywork. I was in Omaha on a business trip and my flight was canceled. Suzanne was so accommodating and even fit me in on a Sunday night. I had the hot stone and bamboo combo and loved every minute of it. You can tell that she takes her time with each client. I loved how she works your body evenly versus starting at your back then legs, then arms and flipping you over. Not once did she inform me she would be running this behind or apologize for her tardiness. The vibe was very awkward as well. Would not recommend to anyone. Rating: 1/5 stars I recently booked an hour signature massage and will NOT be returning anytime soon. Being that the name is KIND, I just wanted to forewarn everyone as I wish someone would have done for me. My daughter is an LMT in another state, so I know how a typical massage works, but my normal expectations were put to shame. The experience started off on the wrong note when Susanne, the owner and only therapist there, arrived over 15 minutes late, leaving me waiting outside. Obviously, she had forgotten about my scheduled session because her excuse was merely, "I was at lunch," as though her lateness for a new client didn't phase her. Once inside, the room appeared very messy, with dirty linens in a heap in the corner and oils haphazardly placed in only a few nearly empty bottles on the counter. The number of sample scents from which clients choose a fragrance didn't seem to match the couple oils she has "prepared." Additionally, the table had several layers of linens, like she just throws off a layer in between clients and replaces the towel (maybe?)--either way, not sterile. I have had my share of massages with my daughter's career, and I couldn't help but notice that Susanne has her top three go-to strokes that she reverts to over and over for the entire hour. Deja vu much? The good smells must be her claim to fame, not the customized procedure of a licensed therapist. Most of the time was spent grabbing supplies and preparing along the way. All in all, a scattered, disorganized mess! Be KIND, and help her learn some professionalism. read more

She uses a variety of techniques- hot rocks, sand bags, bamboo, & essential oils. The location on the passageway is quiet & serene. Parking is easy on the metered parking directly on front of door.
