All the kids were playing with homemade play-dough. I loved getting to ask the teacher and director questions. For instance, the teacher in the 1-2 year old room, was one of the newest members to the team and yet had been there over a year. It's not often you see that level of commitment. I really was expecting a higher turn over. The little kids even engaged in finger painting. I may be behind the times, but I had never thought of letting my little one paint. It was cool to see how cohesive their group was. The atmosphere was calm and the kids geuninely seemed to enjoy their time there.

I would say that the infant room is great. There were several safety concerns that I had which was one of the final reasons that I left. Children not being watched carefully enough, staff on their cell phones (texting/social media?) while the kids are running amuck around them; kids don't seem to learn much structure while there...many days I prayed that my child would be okay while I was away at work. Every month or so, there was a new person working at the Daycare whom you would have to introduce yourself to as they would rarely do this --the communication was very poor which was very frustrating. I wrote this to help other parents that are considering this daycare. It is important to have an honest opinion about it. I do wish that my experience had been different.

This is his first time in daycare and I was so concerned about him adapting to a new environment. He is starting his 3rd week and he is getting more comfortable each day. He is speech delayed and I was worried about his interactions with his teachers. Luckily he's built a strong bond with them all and especially Miss Gwen and Miss MJ. We've already had him come home with several art projects and so many pictures of him to look at throughout the day. I have zero concerns about his safety and well being here. I really appreciate that Megan (the center director) is extremely responsive via email and the app. Any little question or concern is immediately addressed. And all the teachers are so kind and willing to talk about my son's day at pick up. So far, I am thrilled about this daycare experience and am looking forward to seeing my son's continued growth!

I think it's because Yilda makes it feel like home and gives the kids the attention and structure they need. He actually cries when he has to leave school and asks to go on the weekends. The level of professionalism, communication and organization is incredible -- this is what I would expect from an overpriced large scale program, not a reasonable in-home daycare. Yilda works tirelessly, and her love for what she does is very clear. She and Chad have made a beautiful space for these kids and families that feels like a second home.

My son has been going here for two years and we really love this school…read more The school is very small, with two classrooms: one for toddlers and one for preschool. It operates inside a beautiful church though is not affiliated with it at all. The school runs on a co-op model where parents volunteer a small amount every week in some way - either in person or helping with errands or other chores. I thought this might be a pain but I actually really like how it creates a sense of community. I've gotten to know the teachers, other parents and even the students pretty well! When my son was a toddler, the school helped up potty train, which we feel really fortunate about. Now that he's older and in the pre school room he gets a lot of structure and stimulation and the classroom, coming home to tell us what he learned or made each day.

As my oldest finishes up his kindergarten year it's so fun to see all the lessons he's been taught coming together. They really treat each child as an individual and work hard to bring out their best self. The classrooms are well organized with high quality materials and the playground is wonderfully naturalistic. I highly recommend this school.
