Last night was worse trying to get my meds , the Dr wasn't answering their texts or returning their phone calls which is very unprofessional ! Finally I get them at midnight last night . I didn't want to come here anyway before because of a bad experience I had in the past . The thing that set me off was this crazy lady in the room across from me kept mashing her call button constantly , and I have a condition that makes me sensitive to noise and I got mad and walked out . Yes I let that lady know how upset I was and they said a comment was made and yes I did make a comment and I was told that I was leaving against hospital policy because Jason was trying to get ahold of a psychiatrist , well obviously a psychiatrist isn't going to return a phone call on the weekend . I give great regard to Crystal the Technician , she was so hard working and helpful unlike some of the other ones there

The staff clearly care for their patients and put their comfort and care above all things. The clinic is well cared for and well kept. The bathrooms are usually clean and well stocked. The clinic rooms are comfortable and the wait time is pretty standard for what you would expect at the doctors office. However, this is due to them thoroughly answering all questions you may have about your condition. I left feeling well informed and with a better understanding of the plan for my care.

Worse hospital for emergency care ever. We've lived up here for 2 years and since moving here I…read morehave not once received adequate medical care. Then when my husband was injured on his job he was sent here for stitches. Yes an x-ray was done. Yes they soaked off the dried blood. No they didn't provide pain medication. No they didn't prescribe antibiotics. Then a no I'm not a nurse person just got some type of glue. Glued my husband 1/2 inch gash closed. Wrapped it and sent us home with not even a prescription for at least antibiotics. When we went to CareSpot the next day so my husband hand could be checked the doctor asked "Well how many stitches did you get?" When my husband said "None." The doctor looked at his hand. Mumbled something and said he needed stitches. He recommended stitches and the only reason the doctor at CareSpot couldn't apply the stitches was because his arm was broken. Carespot had to even prescribe antibiotics. Sucks we live 300 miles away from a hospital that cares.

YET ANOTHER UPDATE 8/4/25. We returned due to a fall, and we were pleasantly greeted by our…read morefavorite ER Nurse Shep. Thank you for explaining everything so clearly, we really appreciated how you kept my husband calm during a stressful situation and in the middle of his pain. Your kindness and empathy made a huge difference and how you genuinely cared for my husband will not be forgotten. Your knowledge is very impressive, and frankly, not to sound repetitive, however you are indeed a quintessential professional. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated your humor...thank you again Nurse Shep! Blessings in bountiful and boundless measure over you and your family. UPDATE; Just wanted to add to this review because we must give justice where justice is due. On Sunday morning we went to the ER and met another exceptional medical team member; Nurse Shep. He is like the "Good Shepard"! I was so impressed with Nurse Shep, that I sent a personal message to the CEO, Alan Keesee. Just another confirmation that the team at this HCA is extraordinary indeed. The whole team here must have been handpicked. Nurse Shep, is EPIC, and checks all the boxes for a quintessential professional. The people in this area are blessed beyond imagination to have such a devoted, compassionate, and knowledgeable team at HCA Foxwood. After witnessing many hospitals across Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota over the last 13 years, I've become exceptionally aware of the care provided. Again, we count ourselves blessed to have HCA ER at Foxwood. Thank you to all who work tirelessly to provide 5 Star service. Again, blessings to ALL! This is by far an exceptional medical team to boast about, and well deserving of the highest possible rating. This afternoon we had to respond to the HCA ER Foxwood, and met with Dr. Diago, and Nurse John who are two supreme examples of quintessential professionals, as well as their colleagues starting with the front desk intake lady, (sorry I didn't get her name), to each technician. Each and every person we met are so phenomenal that we must give the accolades that are well deserved. They were conscientious and efficient covering all bases, which gives such a peace of mind. The warmth, and empathy was astounding and we could literally, feel the passion they have as medical- professionals who hold the Hippocratic Oath as their code of conduct. The knowledge and wisdom applied was indeed impressive. The whole team worked together like a fine-tuned machine, in a display of astounding cohesiveness which is so refreshing as they respect each other while they serve their patients in need. They are expeditious, hard-working, and quick to share a smile. Working in the ER must be taxing as this is a time, not planned, and caretaker/family members must drop everything to get the patient there as quickly as possible in most cases, so now emotions are filled with anxiety. However, somehow it gets better when they walk in your room, and suddenly a sense of peace overcomes you....because you know that they have it all under control. We are so blessed to have this caliber of professionals and we know that they make the HCA chief executive officer proud for their exemplary service to this community. God bless all these amazing people in fathomless measure with good health and safety always. Thank you!

It's an Emergency facility so I was a bit hesitant to go in as this was far from an "emergency" but when I went in I simply could not have been treated better! Between registering me, taking me back to a room, taking my vitals and history, getting the Doc in to see me, look at my ear and give a referral and checking out, I was out of there in 30 mins or less! Everyone was super nice. Although you can go in for "urgent care" this is a full-on Hospital facility. Everything is state-of-the-art. I could not recommend it more highly!

I will say this - the therapists who are on staff are terrific, patient, caring, professional, and…read moreknow what they are doing. Occupational, Speech and Physical - I'd give these people 5 stars. Yet, as an overall rehab facility this place is a nightmare of miscommunication and ineptness. I could not even begin to count the amount of times they could not find the special meds my mom needed to take each day, the amount of times it took forever for a nurse or staff member to attend to her when needed, the staff doctors who had no clue what her specialist and prime physician at the Mayo Clinic ordered for her treatment, the times they screwed up her special dietary meals, the amount of times we had to rush over there to get things straightened out, it goes on and on. Also, be aware if your loved one is here on a weekend as it seems they are extra slow, and the food is cold garbage which I wouldn't even feed a stray dog. Yes, it was that bad and many times my mom hardly ate. As she was there due to a rare heart and lung condition keeping up her strength was imperative. We had many arguments with the weekend staff heads while here as we had it and were fed up with the excuses. It just seemed like it was a bother to ask for things that were more than normal. Weekdays were a bit better but not as bad as the weekend shift it seemed. Think twice about sending a family member or loved one to this facility. Think three times and do some research as there are other rehab facilities in Ocala and the surrounding area to consider. If my mom has a relapse and needs rehab again we would never send her here again. I'm glad she is out of this crap show of a place now doing better and has home care.
