The owner told me she made them from recycled cabinets- so creative! The store has a huge mystery, horror, and romance sections. There are some smaller self-help, history, sports, and biography sections. There is also a great clearance section with some blind reads near the front door. I also recommend you checkout the selections of bookmarks and stickers near the cashier. The bookmarks are made by local artists. The Book Store is a must visit for book lovers in the area and there are lots of cool eateries and pubs nearby too.

We stopped in while exploring the Great River Road and Driftless region. There are literally books everywhere, in the best possible way! The books are organized in sections with signs labeling the genres. There is an "antique" aroma, which adds to the cool ambience! I planned to just look around while my gf shopped, and I ended up buying four books, priced $5-$6! Make it a point to visit here whether you're a book person or not!
