The owner told me she made them from recycled cabinets- so creative! The store has a huge mystery, horror, and romance sections. There are some smaller self-help, history, sports, and biography sections. There is also a great clearance section with some blind reads near the front door. I also recommend you checkout the selections of bookmarks and stickers near the cashier. The bookmarks are made by local artists. The Book Store is a must visit for book lovers in the area and there are lots of cool eateries and pubs nearby too.

The individual rooms in which to wander are made magical as the shelves are marked using old Scrabble tiles. This is because the owners are super-dooper creative. As well as knowledgeable and hospitable. And funny. They share their sweet dog Coda with each guest and to this date she hasn't tinkled on a single customers shoe! However I think the owners should teach her to do that for the few shoplifters that have sullied the place. The kids room is amazing and each child that finds the secret room is transported to a magical place all their own. As a member of the senior crowd I'm VERY grateful for the neatest, most creative bathroom in the entire town! My first visit there it was the FIRST room I needed to find. As I sat there meditating to the sound of the clapping of one hand I just KNEW I was in for a treat with the rest of the store and I sure was! Besides the great selection of books (which I think are priced almost too low) you can find a few collectible/antique offerings as well as other goodies like snacks and greeting cards. As a small business owner, she is vested in making our community a wonderful place. There were about 20 books I had purchased for my 90 year old dad and I was hoping to use the credit there to buy him one or two new reads. For all the books I brought in my 'offer' was $4.53!!! People are rude....even buying or selling they think they are doing you a big favor... You can buy most "new" books that are actually old, that are cheaper on Amazon... They sure won't care that I will never go in that place again.... IMO, if you don't buy a lot of books there, they will put a real cheap $$$ on the ones you sell....
