Windstream already has a horrible reputation for service in northeast Florida. Customers openly discuss how bad it is on social media. So when they tried to rebrand as Kinetic it is no surprise their prices are the same as the other companies they have a monopoly with. This company came in and started digging up peoples yards without their permission, parking their trucks all along the roadways, blocking traffic, tearing up people's lawns by parking their trucks on the grass. For months they wreaked havoc with traffic in our town, they left a bunch of plastic flags all over my lawn that I had to go out and pick up and I'm not even a customer. They put up more lines (old technology) when most people have switched to 5G cellular for home internet. And now, I'm receiving several mailings a week from them; a bunch of garbage that clogs my mailbox that I have to shred or recycle. Again, I'm not a customer. I would rather go without internet than ever give these people a dime of my money. What a fat, gluttonous pig of a company. Nothing but utter hatred for Kinetic and their unwanted intrusion into my life. read more

This has to be the worst internet company I have ever used. Impossible to talk to a human being. If you do happen to get a person on the line you get transferred back to the same recording you get when you call in if it's not their department. Then you're stuck on the wheel of entering the same information over and over. Wait times over 20 mins long. This is a private company and I can see why. It is poorly run. I have used Spectrum, Time Warner, and Cox cable and have never had the issues I have had to get an actual customer service person. The installation was also subpar. Didn't show up on date scheduled. When technicians did come out they didn't know what they were setting up. It was a simple WiFi router and modem set up. Which, if they were a more efficient company would just mail the equipment to the residence and the customer can set up easily on their own. Georgia needs to get some new internet options for its residents. This company is incompetent!!! read more

Your typical cable company. Fidelity was the only internet in the area since we lived in Beebe,…read morethere was DSL but it was too slow. Fidelity was mostly unstable when we were a customer. It would go a few times a week. Their modem would take 5 minutes to reboot. They would have issues multiple times a month. They kept going up in cost, it got to $108. We finally had Rightfiber move in, they installed fiber and it was 20+ cheaper per month that includes taxes and everything. So, 330~ a year is saved after switching and it's more stable with faster upload. We thought giving Fidelity, a chance, they would improve their services and prices after competition came in, to keep existing customers. It was a mistake to assume this. So moved to Rightfiber a few months ago. I told Fidelity I am canceling our service. They kept billing, missed it for two days, and they billed for the entire month. They also wanted their terrible modem, which takes forever to boot to be driven to them. They wanted a person to drive about 30 minutes to an hour over to one of their locations. Wasting fuel and milage. At first, they didn't even want it to be mailed in. They said they'd call, randomly expecting somebody to be at home at that specific time they call, for tech to pick it up. No tech ever called. The billing department over there said they would prorate one month where we were late by 2 days, and the next month after, refund that one as well. Called a few times. It has been difficult dealing with them by canceling the service. I then got another email saying they were going to try and hit the card for January despite not having used the service since November or so. Now, they're letting us mail it in which may cost over $20. It is ridiculous all of this to cancel. Be cautious if you are going with them. First, use a credit card instead of a debit card, and I would recommend you consider avoiding using a rented modem. Even get a used one online, so if you ever do cancel. You don't have this issue. They might not have a contract to keep you locked in, but they make it a bit difficult to opt out.

Don't expect the technician to call you before your appointment. You are expected to wait around…read morefor 2 hours not knowing when they will come and waste your time. Watch out if you work remote because they will tell you to miss work rather than fix their communication mistake and get you setup with internet.
