He told me he left the grounds, purchased alcohol and that it went undetected. I asked many questions regarding the type of services he was receiving during his stay and was told the staff were trying to improve his motivation. He left against their advice and within a day, he threatened to harm himself. This program did not help him. Messages that I left were not returned. I did speak with a case manager supervisor who was receptive and provided group options. I called and spoke with a different person last week and told them all of this.

From every aspect their treatment and experience is the best in class. A lot of the staff / psychiatrists have experienced addiction or mental health challenges in some capacity and to be supported in my recovery process by others who have REAL, lived experience and aren't just college educated / textbook informed academics trying to cure people of problems and challenges they can't relate to or understand from within is just one component of what makes Watergap so unique and so effective. The staff are not only extremely experienced and knowledgeable, but they have a perspective on recovery and healing that you can share and relate to with them, I think this also contributes to how caring the staff are, they really all take such a personal and deep interest in your recovery vs this just being a way to pay the bills and put their degree to use (which I have seen at many places). Beyond the staff and recovery approach being incredible and also unique, the grounds are absolutely stunning with world class amenities. The natural beauty surrounding the facility allows your mind and soul to really connect with nature in the healing process and there are also such a wide range of amenities it feels like being at a luxury resort. From a massage/spa room, hiking in the beautiful Poconos mountains, group yoga and meditation, themed dinner nights, a glass sun room for yoga sessions, a beautiful golf course, daily hikes, a swimming pool - there are endless ways at Watergate to stay constantly entertained, distracted, challenged and inspired. I am so thankful for Watergate for changing my life and can't say enough good things about my experience and the treatment I received there.

I can no longer find this facility on Google to allow me to write a review. I write this review…read moreprimarily to inform and not to shed a negative light on Rolling Hills. I was overwhelmed by the process of finding help for my brother and RH seemed like a perfect solution. My brother was doing well for about 3 weeks and then he started to decompensate and began having panic attacks which landed him in the hospital 3 times. Unfortunately, my brother isn't just an addict but has serious mental health issues, as is often the case with addiction. My main issue with RH is that they have a nurse practitioner, not a doctor, who is offsite 6 days a week handling the meds and care of every patient. This NP was impossible to get a hold of and no one seemed to want to give me their contact info, I eventually got an email address, sent an email but was never responded to. My brother was hospitalized 3 times, the NP should have reached out to me. My brother's psych Eval was done by his therapist, not by a licensed psychiatrist. RH seems like an excellent facility if your main struggle is addiction but if you or your loved one have serious mental health issues I don't think RH is equipped to handle that. I will say that my brother's therapist Brianna was incredibly communicative, helpful, and easy to talk to. The house manager Chris was amazing and helped my brother so much, and Mike the executive director was also very supportive. Overall RH did what they could to help my brother and were supportive and helpful in us switching him to another facility called Watergap. In the end, you could tell that they truly just wanted what was best for my Brother. I hope this helps anyone in the same situation as me.

This was the worst massage I've ever had…read more I booked a massage for myself and I booked a separate one for a family member, as we had been hiking and white water rafting and my normal place was booked. I understand this place is less expensive for a massage versus many other places - But it is not worth it at all. Given the language barrier, the person I got thought it was my first massage but I was saying it was my first time at their establishment. I have had many massages and none as bad as this place. I read the reviews where it was cash only and they expected a large tip and I figured I would come prepared. So I had no issues with the tipping that many other reviewers have mentioned as a negative. That said, the whole place and experience gives the impression they're doing things that they're not supposed to be doing with other clients, if you know what I mean. Thankfully, being a woman, I didn't have to worry about that. All I had to sit through was the worst massage of my life. I left feeling worse than I had walked in Basically lit $260 on fire between the two massages I paid for (and yes, I still gave them their 30% tip as everyone said it was that's what was expected). They clearly are NOT licensed massage therapists. They have no idea what they're doing. The entire atmosphere is the opposite of relaxing. It's extremely uncomfortable. Their signage everywhere saying there's "no sexual activities on the premises". Why the hell would you ever need that sign in a legit place? The entire thing is sketchy. The door is locked when you arrive. There's barely signage outside either. When they first started, they didn't even use lotion. They were trying to massage me through a sheet - which was low thread quality on top of it. And paper over the massage table (which was undersized). It felt like he was trying to rip my skin off. Finally, I mentioned something about utilizing lotion. At which point she started using oils, but she clearly didn't know what she was doing. Used to a deep tissue sports massage, so it's rare I'm uncomfortable, yet she did things that were painful. It was clear to me given the clientele that I saw on my way out what they're actually doing there. I will absolutely never go back. Frankly, I'm shocked they're even still in business I thought I was treating myself and a family member to a nice massage where we were physically active after an adventure vacation. And instead, I walked into a place that should be put out of business.
