Melissa at the office is a wonderful representative of the company, and was very helpful in helping coordinate all of the work we were having done. Mike and Anna came to provide the estimate, and were very thorough - and the estimate was broken down line-by-line, so we could decide what we wanted to prioritize (not something done by other electricians, I found out). For the work - Anna spent the day going through our list, and was very patient and communicative...helpful, since I had a number of questions. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work that was done - updating some exterior lights, installing a few new ones, and some troubleshooting - Anna is a pro. I called King Electric after seeing the great reviews and I am SO pleased with my choice to use them! Both Anna and Michael were wonderful and true magicians. Anna was incredibly nice and did a great job, and Michael came for round #2 to install a pain-in-the-butt flush mount. I felt so bad for Michael that he had to deal with probably one of the world's worst light fixtures, but he was determined to get that thing up for me! It took some serious skill, and I was beyond impressed. I would 1000% be calling them again for any additional electrical needs - well, that is if they're willing to come back after the pain and suffering that light fixture caused LOL! King does quality and affordable work! We have had several jobs done by them over the last 3 years: a complete service replacement to 150 amp, adding additional circuits, an electric car charger, and removing old poorly-done DIY stuff done by the previous homeowner. They did a great job of quoting us on higher-end supplies (like a top-of-the-line service box with surge), but it wasn't absurdly expensive either. I'm happy with all the improvements and the prices are in line with the market. Technicians are friendly and the scheduling is prompt. You'll get a good explanation of what they are going to do, and no hidden upcharges. read more

Tyler and Michael just replaced old fluorescent lighting under our kitchen cabinets and all of the ceiling recessed lighting with new "integrated" can lighting. As has been our experience with all of the King electricians who we have used before (Anna, Joe, Justin, etc.) , they were prompt, professional, clean and knowledgeable, and our new lighting is terrific. Excellent work. Prompt. Courteous. Neat. I've had them do commercial work in my 1883 vintage office building (no easy task). King Electric upgraded me to 200 amp service, updated my exterior connection, installed and updated new ground lighting and exterior outlets, and added new porch lights. They coordinated with the power company and the inspector to minimize our time without electricity. Joe replaced our non-functioning basement light switches in a highly effective and efficient manner. Despite being told by others that it was a 3-way switch and the system would need a major overhaul, Joe found that it was in fact not a 3-way switch and instead solved the problem within 30-45 minutes.
