Sad experience! I received unsatisfactory service and property damage that occurred during a recent…read morecleaning appointment with Housewife Cleaners. During the service, a wall frame was damaged and I was not informed of the damage at the time it occurred. In addition, multiple agreed-upon services were not completed, including cleaning the toilets, returning rugs to place, and dusting certain areas. I was later told the toilets were not cleaned because a toilet brush could not be located; however, the toilet brush was visibly present next to the toilet. No attempt was made to contact me during the appointment to clarify questions or resolve any issues that would have allowed the services to be completed properly. The company acknowledged responsibility for the damaged frame and indicated the cleaners had to leave quickly, which resulted in unfinished work. An offer to return and complete the services was not made until after I requested a reasonable partial refund to account for both the property damage and incomplete work. Due to the damage that occurred during the initial appointment, I do not feel comfortable allowing the company back into the property. The only resolution offered in response to my refund request was a 50% discount on a future cleaning service, which does not address the deficiencies in the service already paid for or the damage caused. I would not recommend this company. BEWARE!
