There's a huge variety of cheeses here and though there's most of them out for sampling, on the day I was there I felt as if we were being annoying by asking to try some. I know I would have bought more had the staff member been more generous in her sampling and encouraged us to try more. We left with a couple of cheeses, some chartcuterie, bread (the corn bread is a must), drinks and the fig "salami". Worth a visit if you're in the area and want to put together a picnic lunch.

I can't say that it was necessarily quiet, but it certainly did have some charm about it. I guess these older pubs tend to be like that, especially the ones in the regional areas. What I did like about this pub was that it has a pretty good beer garden, and I'm always one who likes beer gardens. Yeah, while it isn't a favourite, it's still rather nice.
