This King Soopers is definitely the nicest one in my neighborhood with the largest selection of not just food (they have a lot of food items that other locations don't have) but clothing, kids section, health items, etc. It also feels a lot nicer in there compared to other King Soopers that oftentimes can feel a bit claustrophobic. The one downfall is that, like others have mentioned, the prices here seem a bit higher than other locations. read more

starbucks employees are very rude. i was there yesterday at 1:15 pm. one gal was manic and insisted on cleaning the area near me. i tried to explain to her that it was ok. i was just going to use my computer and then leave and she caught an attitude then i talked to the manager for wi-fi help and didn't show any concern and said oh we do things different here. i've never had such a awful experience in my life with king soopers or starbucks. in 40 years these two employees need to be retrained or find another job. read more

9/20/25- The staff here are really hit or miss. The Starbucks staff were nice, but the lady working the customer service desk was really rude. I understand that it was early in the morning, but just because you woke up on the wrong side of the bed is no reason to take it out on customers. Watch out for scams from the store.... Signs show sales but the small print now requires a digital coupon to redeem deals in store....What a joke! What's the point of having a store card when you need additional coupons. Shameful manager at this facility on Sunday. A young high schooler was trying to do fundraising. I've seen kids do this in the past. The manager could have calmly explained to the kid why he wasn't allowed or that the policy had changed. He wasn't kind and didn't use kind words. Do we have to make evrything in life so difficult for young people who are just working hard. We spend so much time telling them no to positive things it's a wonder why they'd just rather not bother. The last 5 times I have been into King Soopers at 80th and Wadsworth I have regretted going there. Problems with mispricing, price gouging, rude employees, and lazy employees, and spoiled dairy have finally pushed me past my limit. I found the produce was a little gross tonight too!! I am done with that store. I will go to KS at 100th and Wadsworth. During the last strike I went into KS at 80th and met a manager from the 100th ave store. He confided in me that the employees at his store were not unionized and that they were all happy and a hard working crew. I am going to give them a shot. read more

A couple years ago I moved to Westminster, and this just happened to be the closest King Soopers. I was disappointed that it didn't have a fuel center, but it is one of the oldest, and largest King Soopers in Colorado. After moving to Olde Town Arvada, this is still my go to KS location. Since COVID, they've had issues off and on being well stocked, but that was fairly standard for all KS's during that (and this) time. I do like that I have the option of shopping for clothes/shoes on the occasions when I like/need to, and they have a larger selection of other goods as well (pharmacy/home/holiday, etc.). The deli section is on par with the larger KS locations, and there's a wonderful floral area, with a ton of plants as well. I also like that there's a pick up window outside for the pharmacy. It's been closed off and on due to limited staff and COVID vaccine demand, but the lines for the pharmacy inside aren't too long most of the time, and they go fairly quickly anyway. I've never had a problem with the staff at this location. All of the employees do their best to work quickly and be extremely hospitable in every situation I've encountered. I always look forward to shopping at this KS location, and I hope to be able to for years to come! read more

I give this store 4 stars because they are the gold standard every grocer should follow. From their meat selection to their produce King Soopers is the gold standard. This review is for the King Soopers on Wadsworth and 80th in Westminster CO. Most of my complaints on Yelp are due to young people and this one is no different. Young people refuse to do more than their asked and if given any liberty they take advantage, The guy I'm about to describe probably works his butt off so I hope he chalks this up to experience. I had surgery on a foot an need to get around with the help of electric carts the store offers. I sat down on one and the seat was covered in water so I was now sporting a wet keister. I found the cart retrieval staff and told him. He responded it was someone else's job to clean them. I told him that he navigated the cart all the way in and parked it as ready to use and now I was wet. He said "yep" and walked away. After shopping I returned my cart only to notice the cast seat was still covered in water. I got the manager and he wiped it offering "They shouldn't be outside any way"..seriously parents, there's got to be a better way. Teach your children to not hesitate going the extra mile..These are the people who will be taking care of us when we are old and feeble.. read more

A pretty amazing grocery store, as it's always been since I grew up in the area in the 80's & 90's. It doesn't look like how it used to be when I was a kid, but it still sells pretty much everything under the sun. If you can't find it here, you probably won't find it anywhere. Imagine a Costco with the same items just not in bulk, or imagine a Target with an extra huge grocery section. I also lovedtheir body care section. They seriously have more hair products than I've seen at even beauty supply stores! The store at 80th and Wadsworth has misleading price stickers where items are supposedly on sale. You have to buy 5 of the item or use their digital app which is hard to use. I just bought 18 count of Kroger brand AA large eggs and thought I would get them for $3.99 per sticker. They were $5.19 on my receipt and when I looked them up online they are $4.79. So their check out system doesn't even have the right price. King Soopers is a rip off anymore and once that merger happens the pricing will only get worse, not better as they claim. I do like the staff at this store as they are always friendly and helpful. I just don't like their pricing and coupon model. read more

I have to say that the customer service at this location leaves a lot to be desired. I asked the people in the floral department about something specific I was looking for. After I asked my question, they (all 3 of them) had a deer in headlights look. I then proceeded to speak more since NONE of the individuals said a thing. As they stood speechless, I walked over to get an example of the flower I was wanting to purchase, which was on the other side of the department (I walk with a cane so walking is difficult for me). Finally the young man followed me and proceeded to tell me the name of the flower in a belittling manner. When I asked if I could purchase some, he pointed and said if we have any they'll be over there. I then asked, "so if you have any they'll be over there?" As he continued to unpacked flowers, he looked up briefly and said "we don't have any". Not a way to treat a customer that is ready to spend money. Don't understand at all. PS when I checked out at the register with my groceries not all my items made it home with me totaling about $10. If this location, didn't have a big selection and wasn't so convenient I'd be shopping somewhere else. I'll just not be doing any extra spending like on flowers. read more

Toys, Furniture, Clothes, and jewelry! That and the size of the location move it up a star. I'm a Washington state native so we don't have King Soopers. Not a large fan but it's useful you can do a one stop shop here versus Walmart. Another big plus is the sheer number of checkout lanes available. Otherwise it's your typical King Soopers selection wise. Staff are friendly. Store is clean and orderly. No issues finding a spot to park outside. This entire shopping strip is basically King Soopers, Starbucks in the corner, a nice liquor store, and a few other businesses to round out the lineup. This location does have a larger than normal food/produce section as well as Pharmacy/Supplement area. Mid morning to mid day seems to be the least busy time here. Came out one evening around seven and the parking lot and aisles were swamped with customers. read more

This store has really gone down hill. Poor management allowing animals to be brought into the store. I love dogs but to have the leash blocking the isle as they sniff and lick food products at their level is not appropriate. The selection when stocked is good and the few, very few nice employees are always nice to see. I watch the manager stand as she watches the 3 checkers check out long lines 5-7 deep work as fast as they can rather than get on a register and help them or customers get out quickly. Now they have all the seasonal junk up front and it's definitely nothing of quality I think I'll bring the goat or the mini horse in next time. The King Soupers at 80th and Wadsworth is one of their larger locations and has a pharmacy. I drive an extra ten minutes to shop here when I need certain items. The store is fairly well stocked, and they have plenty of fruit and vegetables and fresh foods. Also a meat counter. There's a section for hard good household items as well. Checkout is either self serve or cashiers. The staff is very responsive and any time I've needed help they've gone out of their way for me! read more

Our weekly go-to grocer. My only complaint right now is their pandemic curbside pickup. They've changed there method from sign up for a time and call posted phone umber then they came out with your groceries. Now they send someone out without your groceries, to talk, they go back. You wait again until groceries come out. Can be a long affair. Then, if they get behind , good luck! Last time, they turned us away with "wait for our call." No idea when. Just stopped at the pharmacy at 80th and Wads. Told the pharmacist what I was on for heartburn and said that the tums where no longer working and what else she would recommend. All she would tell me was that I need to talk to my doctor. She wouldn't even tell me what over-the-counter meds to avoid so I wouldn't be doubling up on my prescription. I go to this grocery store twice a week and I wouldn't normally write a review BUT Corey in the bakery deserves a huge shout out. He helped me order a gender reveal cake that turned out perfectly. He was friendly and knowledgeable and generally excited to help. The cake was beautiful and also tasted delicious- definitely a CRAZY good deal for $16. Went to get my COVID shot here. The staff had horrible attitudes like they were all hired from a retirement home and senile specifically the lady at the deli counter. I heard random arguments between staff members twice while walking around the store. Then when I checked out, the bagger left a bag outside of my cart. I was 35 minutes from home due to the COVID shot appointment being in Arvada and when I called in about the missing items the lady said I could come back in to get them. I asked for a refund and they wouldn't give me one even though they admitted they had not placed it in my cart. I explained how far away I was and they couldn't do a simple refund for the items over the phone. Worst King Soopers in Colorado and I've been to several. Good thing it's located all the way in Arvada, well away from where I live. read more

This King Soopers is what I call the super King Soopers. it used to be really old and run down and in the back of an old run down mall. That is until they bought the front half of the mall and expanded their store to fill it, in the beginning, this store was so huge that they even had a furniture department, but just recently they decommissioned that department, hmmm, I wonder why, maybe because people dont go to a grocery store to buy furniture? This place also has its own jewelry store, and I think its still there. Good prices and fast service seem to be their main selling point, and thats why I go there. read more

Why text me about substitutions when I am not able to have any say in what the substitutions are? When I call and give you a chance to make my order right, you say there is nothing you can do. Newly remodeled!! LOVE IT! Also my favorite part... cheese... lots of cheese! Good sushi. Grind your own peanut butter. Fresh spices. Best of all.... all specialty items (gluten, dairy, soy, ect) are in the 'normal' aisles where you would find your other items. Basically if you wanted flour, the gluten free flour would be right next to it. Top it off with a checker that said hello, like he wanted to know, and I felt happy. He asked for my card and I admitted that I'm in Denver to deal with my moms move into a nursing home. lots of stuff needs done here, many many items were not where they went for example freezer items in non refrigerated areas, watched 3 different workers all look directly at it and do nothing about it. come to the checkout the people wringing things up on second shift are pretty much just there to look nice as the store was packed with lines everywhere and also they started to turn people away as they said and i quote, " im not trained to check that out". so this store needs to learn to try to train people better is what i heard? the only saving grace for the store was the young woman at customer service was able to get everything done without an issue and very efficiently. while speaking to the individual at the customer service counter it was discovered that in fact everyone on shift has been there for longer then 6+ months, so for someone to have been with the company this long and not have proper training should say something. poor gentleman that they refused to help was followed out as if he was some thief after the interaction as well. worst thing is I was recommended this store for the complete opposite, so imagine my surprise when i get there to pretty much see it in shambles of what i was told it was going to be. 0/10 wouldn't recommend to my enemy's on a bad day. read more

Of all the king soopers, I don't particularly like this location. i noticed the prices are a bit more expensive than the other king soopers and I wonder if that is because they just had a remodel. This place has turned into Wal-Mart which I don't like. They sell clothes and furniture now which has are way overpriced. Always very crowded. They do have a starbucks though and they do have the best selection of produce. Service is always good. Emoloyees are nice. Parking is awful!!!!!
