This, King Soopers is a little bit larger than the one that I am used to shopping at, but I decided to go give it a try and check it out and I was not disappointed. I was amazed at how big their alcohol wine cold beer selection was stopped in at the service desk to ask if you questions both ladies behind the counter were wonderful and eager to help and answer questions, it's just very chill King Soopers everybody was doing their shopping to get their stuff headed on out it's really very well-maintained and clean. The fresh produce area looks so beautiful flower department of course is right there and just smells so wonderful so if you ever get an opportunity to stop in this one I'll go ahead and stop on in. read more

The most ghetto king soopers in the metro area and I used to live in cap hill and baker. It's a bare bones grocery store with few quality choices. Most KS stores have a deli, sushi and cheese department. Not this one. It's more of a liquor store than a grocery store. The place is barely maintained and has a rent a cop at the exit. Who's ripping this place off and who cares?? Hopefully it will close and reopen as a Safeway or something better. It's the most depressing grocery I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and drive the short distance to the KS over on 104th and federal. Way better choices and way better vibes. It's literally a dump. read more

Depending on which location you visit, most King Soopers are well stocked and bustling. All staff were wishing shoppers a Happy 4th of July. Nice of them to do that. We bought our favorite yogurt, a bagel, some fruit and waters. Did the self checkout and we were done. Free parking lot outside and free WiFi. read more

Bought two things in the self-check-out, paid, walked through the barriers to leave HOLDING MY PURCHASES AND RECEIPT IN MY HAND, and a little fake-cop insisted that she see my receipt. When I said "excuse me?" she pointed to a sign. A sign posted AFTER you have already passed the point of sale that said they have the right to stop you. They have the right to ask you to stop. And you have the right to walk right past that little girl pretending she's a cop. read more

Such a dirty store and definitely didn't feel safe here. Cops were in the parking lot about 4 cars and the quick check out woman was rude. The Produce Manager Wes is an incredibly rude and verbally aggressive/ abusive to employees . I was in simply to get my meds and stopped in produce to hear this mess of a man going on and on unloading his frustrations on the very quiet and embarrassed employee Jessica. She was very much trying her best and was not the only who had done restocking and even verbalizing that he continued on his rant . First of all as a manager one is supposed to support and discuss issues in a cool calm manner especially on THE FLOOR . He was literally talking to other customers and it was vile. I spoke up and this ego mess of a guy couldn't even hear me . I went to the employee and let her know that was not okay and I would be speaking up! She then said well honestly this is something I'm used to . I then told a lovely also red headed supervisor who let on this guy is a problem . Also that the employee is very sweet and did NOT deserve his attack. Get rid of him he's not manager material !!! read more

Long story short, we ended up with the wrong dog food off a delivery app. No big deal, but I needed it exchanged. I brought the situation to Peggy in customer service. I could tell that she knew the scenario would be a pain to process, but said to get the other food and come back. On my walk to the dog food isle, I prepared for a little more questioning from Peggy upon my return. But nope, even after not know what card was used to buy the food, she just popped open the drawer and handed me the $3 difference. You should be proud to have someone able to use some discretion, common sense and kindness behind that desk. Thanks Peggy. read more

The deli was completely out of sliced roast beef at about 1:30 pm. Deli clerk said it was against company policy to slice any lunch meats during the day. They had to slice meats in the morning and put out in pre-sliced packaging. The display was haphazardly jumbled and a complete mess at 1:30. This is the last time I am shopping at this store after being a loyal customer for more than 20 years. read more

This king soopers is terrible. They rarely answer the phone. the pick up orders are mostly late and they can't seem to staff appropriately. I have been here for over 40 minutes waiting. I'm disabled and I have other things to do. I'll never shop here affine. read more

Went in at 8pm on a Monday. Tried to order sliced cheese from the deli and was told they could not fulfill my order due to their cheese cutter being "cleaned". Deli counter staff was rude and less than helpful. I asked for a manger and waited 15 minutes with no response. Checked out with helpful and awesome cashier, although I had to bag my own groceries. After I left I called and inquired into the deli situation. Was told by the person that answered the phone "I don't know what they do back there" (... in the deli). She offered to transfer my call to the deli, but I asked for a manager instead. After a 3 minute wait, a "manager" answered and stated that the deli was open until 10pm... but only for pre-cut, pre-packaged meat and cheese read more

My mother who is on oxygen went to the self checkout. She ask the clerk for help out to her vehicle because can not left the case of water . The clerk told her they do not do that any more ?? When did King Soopers stop helping there customer? We have shopped at this location for over 40 years and I'm really disappointed that the store is not willing to help a customer with there groceries that has a disability. Go to 104th! The parking here is the worst, so is the management. They are always to busy taking to their friends and family to help you. They seem to only carry generic items, if you're in need if a special item don't go here. Their cash registers are like Walmart too, 90,000 customers and only 2 lanes open. The Customer service desk always had an annoyed attitude with you and there always rushing you. The positives, the produce guys are usually very sweet and helpful. The cashiers are usually patient too even if they aren't friendly... And it's right across the street. read more

Never really bothered me until this morning when I tried to get some assistance. Who would of thought paying your $100.00 grocery bill with 3 rolls of quarter and rest by CC. Well it is! I was at King Soopers Monday during the snow storm and they were out of everything because the truck was delayed. I've been here many times. It isn't a bad store, it just that all the other King Soopers in the area are better. It's rather small, old and in a cramped strip mall. It has a grungy feel, even though it seems kept up well enough. Their selection is good for the size of the store and they've always seemed well stocked. Their parking lot isn't set up well, especially when they are busy. If atmosphere is important to you, I would go to a different store. If not and this one is close or convenient, go here. read more

I supply bottled water to a construction contractor who purchases a full pallet of 32 count 16oz, bottles from me and I purchase these from this King Soopers store. Frank organized the pick up of these for me on 7/10/2018. I arrived at the store and he and a fellow worker named Tim had half of a pallet in which they had these on a display in the front of the store. Tim went to the back of the store and grabbed a pallet jack and picked them up and rolled them out to my pick up truck and helped us load them on one case at a time and even helped wrap them with shrink wrap. I goto this store often as it's nearby where I work and can go on my lunch hour and do some shopping. The employees are great and to agree with Camilla, there are a lot of WIC shoppers there and basically that's because of the area it's located in, it's somewhat of a poorer area, if you will. But the people are great, they are also one of the few King Soopers left that will take aluminum and pay you for them. The store is cramped, compared to other stores basically because it's older but, the employees are truly wonderful and helpful, even when you call about something. read more

Seriously a joke of a bakery... If you're having a special occasion do NOT use them... I places my order for a cake wayyyy in advance and was left with multiple disappointments... When I picked it up the cake wasn't what I selected the balloons rather than the words were the focus which I guess was a good thing since they wrote the wrong words! I didn't even select some thing out of the ordinary either I simply hit a selection on their website. I did request that the balloon was red rather than pink which is apparent they forgot until last minute cuz the pink is visible under the red. The side of the whole cake is visible as the icing was slapped on. Now let's cut into the cake and here we have a cake that's not even cooked all the way through. Ever heard of salmonella poisoning?? The guest service desk is so slow it feels like I could actually drive to another store and still be helped faster. This seems to always be an issue at this store. If you're looking for fast and friendly help at the service desk I suggest you go to a different location because this one lacks in both areas. read more

My wife and I were checked out by a woman named Terese who was incredibly condescending and inappropriate. One of the items we purchased was a box containing 8 items sold at one price. She opened the box and checked each item individually and told us in her 16 years(!) with the store that she has never seen an item come up front like that so she called someone to ask and they replied that "they are sold individually and that's it" which is exactly how she put it to us. My wife then informed Terese that there is an actual barcode on the shelf for the 8 count box and that individually they would cost us more money and if that was the case then we didn't want the item(s). She then slowly, and one at a time, removed each of the items while telling us they aren't sold like that and my wife is wrong, all while creating a massive back up in the line, making us uncomfortable, and clearly upsetting other customers. During our whole checkout I was bagging our own groceries while two (!) baggers stood and watched me bag and then walked away when the checker began removing the items. I left bagging to go take a photo of the barcode and price on the shelf and returned before she was even finished removing the only 8 items, that were exactly the same thing, to which anyone could scan one item, enter the quantity and void, in one simple process. After I proved to her that the item was sold as one box, not individually, she acted like it was the fault of whomever she spoke with on the phone, and never once apologized for how she'd spoken to us. Then, another of our items which are sold individually as well as a whole box price was being rung up, Terese huffed about how we "like our boxes," like it is any of her business how much or how little of any item we purchase. Then, when I was so disgusted with the attitude and treatment we received, I went to speak with the store manager who I waited for about ten minutes. The store manager, Julie, was called five times and when finally reached, said she was too busy with a long distance call and "if I wanted to wait I could, but it will be a while." My wife and I will never shop at this King Soopers, and likely never shop at another King Soopers only because of this incident. We both work in a service industry and know the importance of treating customers with respect and we were not only completely disrespected but also argued with, made to feel stupid, and expected to do other people's jobs by going to look up the price and bag our own groceries, which I wouldn't have a problem with normally, except for the two baggers standing around watching me. This store is terrible and doesn't even deserve one star and even though this store is close to our neighborhood I will gladly drive a few extra miles to shop somewhere else. read more

I like this location. The have a fair selection of organic. I can find what I need and the people are friendly. Parking can be an issue after 3:00 pm, but I just park at the back and walk. No problem. I do wish they would stop relying so heavily on self check-out. I like a "live" person to help me. read more
