It is because I sent Tim an email this morning about a question I had in regards to my credit report. My credit score said on all three reports 775, I couldn't believe that score and wanted to once again ask Tim, why, why would I have such a great score before 10 years. I don't personally know him since I live up in Fort Lauderdale, all I know of him when I needed a lawyer with specialities for my situation I asked around and his Law firm was mentioned more then twice that is why I ended up hiring his firm in Coral Gables when I lived so far away. Do what you want with this information and testimonial, but certain things in life you got to not go on the cheap, you need to hire the best. Disappointing overall experience with this firm. Communication was inconsistent, and I did not feel respected or properly supported throughout the process. They forgot to include a very important letter to my home bank while doing the bankruptcy back in 2019 and that mistake is costing me a lot of money and tears. Now they say they are unable to submit that letter to my mortgate company. PLease go see a lawyer who knows what they are doing and who uses staff who also know what they are doing. Still disappointed after 9 years. File bankruptcy on 2013, starting all was so good, but later on the staff commit too many mistakes, I was told by him to sell my car so the court won't take it, I have to pay my car in full later, they include my property without my knowledge, now on 2022 because they don't follow with the bank at that moment, I stuck in the middle trying to get release my mortgage from a third party and get it reported to the credit my payments, plus other things. Mr. Kingcade was the only good experience about this office. Unfortunately after I left his office, about 4 days later I called to make my first payment (for my Husband's case), the attendant 'Niurka' very impatient, no cordial 'Good Morning' or anything like that... took half a day and 4 to 5 phone calls to find my husband's case. All the time treating me on the phone like if she was doing me a favor.   Finally when I was ready to make the payment, she said I would have to pay 3% in top of the amount for "a pay by phone Fee" , which would be almost $ 40 dollars extra. I questioned her about this HUGE fee, that she never informed me about it during all day and I would like to speak to a supervisor to see if they could do an exception and wave the fee for me She put me on hold and came back this Extremely Rude woman on the phone, bragging about being the "Attorney Kristina Gonzalez", I told her attitude was very unprofessional and she basically told me; * If You're Not happy With The Fee and Service Provided, You're More Than Welcome To Find Another Attorney To Represent Your Husband *. Well, SO I DID! Just 4 days before my court. I'm hiring another attorney... The lesson is; It doesn't matter your status or how educated you are, work with people is not for everyone. This Lady is clearly not prepared to help people (especially people with financial problems). I'm very disappointed in Kingcade & Garcia. He bragged how he how was the first attorney to beat the Ygrene / Pace loans in Miami. He pointed to his wall of news articles in his office. We were extremely happy because we needed to get the $80K in Ygrene and pool loans off our home. Timothy assured us he could help get us out of those two huge loans, which was the reason we signed with him. He's very charismatic and polite when you first meet with him. After you sign your retainer, everything changes. Now you have to email him to get questions answered and he replies with short and vague responses. His staff can be rude and discourteous as in the other reviews but that's because of how he treats them. I sat in the waiting room with three other clients and actually heard him yelling and cursing at one of his female employees to the point she walked out crying. His paralegal seems the only person in the office that knows anything and has the patience of a saint. You can see his staff aren't very happy and in my opinion leads to poor work performance of cases. We had issues with our exemption page because his staff member wrote the wrong amount twice which would've cost us more money to payback. His office called me to tell me they need more money to do a motion for the pool loan because bank was contesting my bankruptcy. They made it seemed it was an urgent matter. He charged me $1000 for a motion he never did but he did go on vacation like three times while working on my case. I was asking him for months about the status of the motion and he kept giving me the run-a-round. I would ask to let me see the documents showing that my pool loan was disputed in the bankruptcy and he would not produce it. When I check my bankruptcy docket there was no dispute recorded from my pool loan company. I asked for a refund of my $1000 if he didn't do the motion. He finally gave me a credit. That credit went to more attorney fees "for settling my case." Apparently the approximate $6k in attorney's fees I already paid wasn't enough. When we went to our first hearing, everyone got to leave with their discharge but not us. His office apparently, according to the Trustee, didn't have all of our documentation and caused her to extend our case. His attorneys just sat there and didn't say or do anything. The Trustee got like four extensions and the whole time you have to chase down his staff to get an explanation. As someone who has never filed for bankruptcy and no real knowledge of how it works, it's very frustrating when you think your lawyer is working against you. He did get us out of our substantial credit card debt but any decent bankruptcy lawyer could have done that. That's why I'm giving him two stars. I would not recommend him as a bankruptcy attorney. He can't get you out of Ygrene or pool loan, especially if it's deemed a fixture lien. Make sure you check your house for liens before you see him, he dropped the ball on that one for our case. He initially said there were no liens against my property but he was wrong! He will start charging you more fees and then point to the vague legal contract. I unfortunately made the mistake of reading his reviews after I signed with him and started to notice the similar patterns as in previous reviews. read more

However, I am extremely disappointed in the services I received. My issues are: a) I was told that when it was time to go to court I would have someone call me to explain the process, that did not happen. B) When at the office to sign papers Mr. Kingcade's paralegal referred to my relative (aka: their client) as "that lady". I was hurt and surprised that any person would not refer to their clients in respectful manner. If you visit their website and read where it says " Why choose us" the forth point " You will receive personal attention and care" THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WONT GET. Yes Mr. Kingcade is very nice on the first visit, you know right before you hire him. Once you do; you will not speak with him again, nor will you see him, you will be handled by his office staff ( different people every time, all lost, no one will be on the same page THIS IS BAD FOR YOUR CASE ) an extremely rude and unprofessional office staff, they always seem to be in a bad mood, the lady Tina who sits right outside of Kingcade's office WOW, she was so very rude every single time, I understand people have bad days so when I tell you every time I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME in person or over the phone! Kingcade's firm was hired for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, he charged us $1750 ( not bad I thought, I think other attorneys charge more ). We always paid on time, no issue from our end on payment , the day that we went to sign the papers we were seen by Maria Santos ( this person was actually NICE, no complaint on her attitude, she was the only person who treated us nice ( decent ) at Kingcade's office, unfortunately she informed us wrong and mislead us with information that later had a major negative impact on our case which pushed for a second deposition. If the paralegal we were appointed Kristina Gonzalez would have called us and spoken with us over the phone so that we could all be on the same page and prepare well for the case this would have not happened, unfortunetly Kingcade and his staff have an issue with speaking on the phone UNLESS it is to ask for money, charge your card, tell you about your upcoming payment ( hungry for your money) even the attorney himself has so much trouble speaking with you, when this happens be VERY CAREFUL, usually means they are not straight forward and highly suggest they dont care for you, if they have the time to reply to an email they must also have the time to speak with you on the phone if you are asking to be contacted, right?? well not Kingcade or his staff. Once the second deposition was requested Tina called us on a Friday afternoon to tell us the trustee had requested a second deposition and we had to pay another $1500 by Monday :) ....this is happening during the mandatory Florida shutdown of non essential businesses during the COVID-19 crisis, we didn't have the money then, we asked if we could get a discount considering the fact they didn't handle the case well and we ask if we could pay in partials. The answer was " we made no mistake but here is a $250 discount and you need to pay the rest all at once by Monday " they gave us 48 hours to ( excuse my french ) pull the money out of our a**, no sympathy, remember the " You will receive personal attention and care" HAHA YEAH RIGHT. Long story short , the attorney wouldn't recognize the mistake by his staff and we couldn't agree on a better deal , he sent us very unprofessional emails , again because he wouldn't speak with us but would reply to our emails within minutes, you know the saying " you have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide" .....applies to this person. He withdrew himself from the case and wished us good luck. We lost our time, we lost our money simply because his EGO is so beyond himself he could never agree in saying " we shouldn't have done that and I am going to help you fix it " no solutions whatsoever. I am only leaving this here hoping it doesn't happen to other people just as I hoped I had read previous reviews.
