If you are considering hiring this firm, I strongly recommend paying close attention to how billing and communication will be handled. I ultimately spent over $9,000 for very limited progress on my case. My initial conversation with Oscar was positive and professional, which gave me confidence in hiring the firm. However, after retaining them, communication quickly became confusing as multiple people were emailing me about the case, making it difficult to understand who was actually responsible. From the beginning I repeatedly explained that I could not afford extensive litigation and wanted the scope of work to remain limited. Despite this, the billing escalated quickly and included charges from several staff members for tasks like reviewing documents, organizing files, and internal communications. In the end, the primary work completed was filing a notice of appearance, a motion for extension of time, and an answer with affirmative defenses. After those defenses were filed, the plaintiff submitted a motion to strike them. I was never notified by the firm about this filing and only discovered it myself after checking the federal court docket. By that time the response deadline was already approaching. Because the legal costs had already become too high, I had no choice but to ask the firm to withdraw and continue the case on my own. After spending more than $9,000, I ultimately found myself defending the case pro se anyway. In hindsight, I wish I had remained pro se from the start and avoided the significant financial burden. read more

This Law firm emailed to persuade me to change my lawyer for 6 months . They rushed me to bring the retainers fee as soon as I agreed . Professional Thieves. Then they started charging me literally $1250 to phone call me for stupid reasons. Once I complained they were not doing their job, they withdrew. Practically charging me $ 5500 for phone calls. What can I said that hasn't been said...writing this review for an immediate family member. After initially speaking with Eric, she really thought this would be a great firm. He gave her some solid advice and assured her that there would likely be dollars left from the retainer, and would only bill what is absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, the other reviewers are telling the truth...my family got scammed. They will rush to ask for a retainer, the work almost never gets done, when the work is completed...it will bring you to tears. They charge thousands for 2-3 page reviews and you'll beg to get that finished in a timely manner. If you ask the lawyers for any critical thought or input that only a lawyer can offer, they'll give you generic answers. They'll call you to ask questions that can be asked via email (and push to call vs just email) so they can charge. The retainer dollars will bill so quickly and as you review the invoice you'll wonder if the same task was just done over and over by different people. Do yourself a favor and seek a firm that will charge a flat rate (contract reviews, letter writing, etc). Competitor firms had offered her 350$ for the same work done by this firm. read more

We hired Sam Gittle of this firm to represent us in a rental dispute. He charged us a fortune to write a basic two page demand letter - which he wrote at the rate of 5 words per minute, according to the itemized billing we received! Adding insult to injury, after having charged us handsomely for this basic template letter, he declined to represent us any further; claiming that the circumstances of our case had changed (while they hadn't). One could easily think he was in cahoots with opposing counsel as he also delayed the sending of the overcharged demand letter in what was a very time sensitive matter. We had no choice but to fire Sam. Avoid Mr. Gittle and this firm at all costs. read more
