After I paid her and she was getting ready to walk out the door, I had to laugh when she suddenly stopped to rub out a tiny mark she thought she saw on a mirror. A professional to the very end. I work a ton of hours and we were in the process of moving so I decided to call Kingdom Cleaning. I gave them a set price budgeted for cleaning the vacant house and a list of priorities in case they couldn't do it all in the budget I allowed. Much to my surprise the whole place sparkled! It was cleaner than it was when we moved in! The "hard water stains" in the shower magically diapered! Well, I'm sure it wasn't magic but experience, knowledge and using the right product. Very disappointed in the service and how the issue was handled. This was a move-in clean and the house was empty. It had been cleaned the day before but I wanted another thorough cleaning before I moved in. Two cleaners arrived at 10:00 instead of 9:00 and spent 2.5 hours in the master bath and bedroom, had a lunch break and left before cleaning the rest of the house. As they were leaving, we were advised that one of them had another job to go to and someone else would finish the house. We waited for over an hour but no one showed up and when I called the owner, her voice mail was full so I emailed her. I received a reply that she was searching for a replacement. We had already wasted the day waiting for the cleaning to be completed so I told her not to bother. If I were the owner of this business, I would have been on the phone and rectified the situation immediately instead of emailing. She did give me a 10% discount but it was a wasted few hundred dollars and I had to finish the cleaning myself. This service was terrible. I chose it due to 5 star ratings. However, we had an awful experience. Communication was only through email and The owner was slow to get back. When there was an issue, no text or phone call, just more emails. We hired this service to clean our condo before moving. The cleaner showed up around 0900 with her 2 children in the car and left the car running? We let her in and showed her around. She said she would be back. We left the door unlocked but when she returned 4 hours later and couldn't figure out how to open the door. She assumed it was locked and left. No phone call or text. I am not sure how she was going to do a thorough cleaning starting at 1 pm in time for photos the next day! Very poor communication and left us high and dry. Partially refunded our money "minus $35 for the travel time" and worried about a bad review, so rather than make it right, cancelled the contract! Well, here is the bad review anyway!
