We were actually referred to them through U-Haul. After 10 years it was time to move out of a 1400sf 3br+, 2ba house. I guess we had a lot more stuff than I thought as the truck we rented ended up being completely packed from floor to ceiling (and front to back) using what I can only describe as some amazing pro Tetris skills. These guys took a look over the house analyzing everything that had to go into the truck and maximized the space efficiency at speed. It didn't matter how big/heavy/awkward the furniture - these guys worked together to make it happen at blazing speed. Stairs were not a problem either. I've moved a few times and I'd never seen anything like this especially for the price. I even hired them for a 2nd job of removing the 10 years of accumulated junk that we weren't taking. I received a great range of quotes and Sparkle & Shine Cleaning got back to me quickly and asked the right questions to dial in a reasonable quote (I had received some pretty high quotes). They showed up when scheduled and brought a sufficient sized crew and equipment to get the house very clean. This wasn't an easy job as the house was lived-in for 10 years with kids.. and that's all I'm going to say about that. I was even given tips on how to deal with the deposits/stains that are common in the area from our very hard water. We hired this company for a deep clean of an empty house prior to moving in. We were told the job…read morewould be a "top-to-bottom scrub of the entire house" and were quoted 5-6 hours. The cleaner ultimately claimed to work 7.5 hours and requested full payment. After paying half upfront, we inspected the home and found that large portions had not been cleaned at all. There was visible dust throughout, hair still in drains, grease on the stovetop, residue on shelves and light fixtures, urine still on a toilet, and grime on the dining room floor. When my husband contacted the owner, he admitted he did not clean the master bedroom, master bathroom, or another guest bathroom, despite never disclosing this beforehand and still expecting full payment. During the call, he also attempted to shift blame by stating that "your wife said it wasn't a big deal," which is not true and was never communicated. The owner repeatedly justified the condition of the house by referencing "buildup," but could not clearly explain what that meant or why it resulted in so many untouched areas. Given the state of the home, it was unclear what work had been completed during the alleged 7.5 hours, as there were no visible results consistent with either a deep clean or a standard clean. The owner did return the following day to "finish the job." However, after the second visit, the house was still visibly dirty and not to the standard of a deep clean. At that point, we had already paid half of the quoted amount, and I still had to clean the house myself before we could move in. At no point were we informed that rooms were skipped, nor were we given the opportunity to address this before payment was requested. Based on the condition of the house after two visits, it did not appear that a deep clean -- or even a thorough standard clean -- had been completed. We are leaving this review simply to warn others so they can make an informed decision. Unfortunately, this was not the level of service that was promised or paid for.
