I am so glad I called AutoGlass Discounters next. I called them, they answered immediately,and then we made an appointment for a day later, fitting with my availability. They gave me a quote on the spot for my Honda Civic's rear quarter panel replacement and checked to see they had it in stock. They let me know they'd meet me at my house. The day of the appointment, they called me to say they could come earlier to my house if I wanted, which was great, though I kept the original time due to my availability. The repairperson Thomas was very prompt, very polite and professional. He easily found the meeting spot I asked him to meet me at. It was a very hot summer day, and we were in the dead of the sun, but Thomas made it go by easy by being so well-natured and making me laugh. He fixed the quarter panel and reassembled everything back together again and vacuumed out the broken glass from the back of my car. That's the only positive thing that I can say about my…read morerecent windshield replacement: Sub-par work with no attention to detail: the rubber strip which goes behind the windshield was put on unevenly, flush with the roof on the driver side, sticking up on the passenger side. I was told that "that's just for looks" which doesn't at all mitigate it not being lined up uniformly. Also, the strip didn't extend around the corner of the windshield on the passenger side. I had to go back the next day to point these things out - in addition to an improperly-placed rear view mirror which had an air bubble and gel showing from the outside. They tried to put it back on properly, then I heard the guy yelling about how he can't get it to work right (which is what you want to hear while sitting there waiting for work on your car to be done). He also just stuck some sort of sticky black material in the corner of the windshield, and told me that the (uneven) rubber strip should "settle down after a while". For good measure, I also noticed a new scratch on my driver side front fender when I got home. Will not take either of my cars to them in the future.

They rescheduled for two days later and for a home visit two days later because my windshield was further away than anticipated. My husband was driving home from work last weekend and got a big rock chip right in the middle of…read morehis windshield. He called this location because it's close to his job. They initially ordered him a new windshield because we weren't sure the large chip was going to be fixable with filler. I took the car in this morning to get the new windshield and they said it was definitely fixable rather than having to replace the whole windshield. They saved me $250 and 2 hours of my time. Had a great conversation with the manager (owner possibly). He guaranteed the filler to stop the chip from cracking any and said if it does, he will fix it free of charge. And if a new windshield is needed in the next year, he will knock $50 off with today's receipt. I have used the Bridgeville location before and was pleased and I was more than happy today.
