My father swears by this shop and after having had to have some work after an idiot rear ended me I decided this was the place to go. You can tell this place will take good care of your mechanical metal baby and has a passion for his craft. The free estimates are a god send. I have been places where they'll charge you $50.00 or more for them to even glance in the direction of your car, but not here. I had the opportunity to sit in the small waiting room, surrounded by hundreds of model cars and Thank You notes, while he made some calls. Tim was trying hard to find the proper bumper for a Beetle that needed work. Much of the search does take place on-line. The insurance company that took care of my car even sent an email to Blackie's informing them to look out for my business. The only reason I didn't give this business a 5 was because of the inconvenient hours. They close around 5 Mon-Friday. At the very least I currently have my dad nearby to get the car for me, otherwise I'd have to use sick time from work just to take care of my baby. But she'd be worth it.

Cut lots of corners to make some extra money . Got paid to do things by the insurance company that they didnt do properly ( insurance fraud ) . They play these games were they want you to pick your vehicle up after they are closed so they can avoid you . After they fixed it the second time I go to pick it up after 5 of course when they are closed . The battery is dead in it from them working on it & that's how they gave it back ? Terrible customer service , the worst I have ever seen . Avoid this place at all costs is my advice I learned the hard way !

when I came in I let them know one of my amps wasn't working and one was and which one to use. how…read morelong did it take to figure it which one to use? hours apparently. I was charged 180$ for a wiring kit when they used the wires already installed in my car and even took about 10 foot of my zero gauge I left long. my line out converter melted and when I found it the ground for the speakers were wired together and the powers were wired into the speaker. they ran a remote wire from my b pillar because apparently the line out converter wouldn't do it and it was ran like we were on a speed run. sloppy. I had 1/4 inch spacers under the blown amp on my amp rack and when they mounted the non blown amp they decided 3/4 of the risers was good enough on a bottom mounted fan amp...... the tune it was tuned at was clipping at the rcas before the amp which is awesome. they installed new tweeters and I guess it's a custom to break off each and every clip that the oem speaker covers had for good measure. wouldn't wanna resell those to make my 700$ back from this experience no not at all. the ground coming off my line out converter was cut twice and butt connectored back together for god knows what reason because a 3' run of 18 gauge can't be more than 1$. genuinely just a ridiculous experience lucky my car didn't burn up literally

Although an overhead system wasn't installable they did head rests for all 3 rows and linked them all and made the audio play through the vans sound system. This took some "special rigging" on their parts because these players are not normally installed in this manner. Jason had me bring my vehicle back the next day and made it work! This is exactly what I wanted and needed for my family when we take trips, and they did it right before I left for my vacation! Price (although a difficult job with custom wiring) was very reasonable. I'm very thankful! I would recommend these guys for aftermarket a/v work! Heidi

The first time they wrapped it they made a ton of mistakes as per the pictures. They did take it back into their shop two times to fix it and it's still not right! This company does not know what they are doing. It's a bunch of boys who don't come to work on time, as I had to wait for them when I had appointments. It lists their hours 9-6 but no one is there until at least 10:30. They are very unprofessional as when I went to pick up my car the last time, I met the 4th or 5th owner and he had me parked outside in the dark, in a tree. I couldn't even see what they did as it was dark & the drivers side had a tree on it, I could hardly get in my car! They told me I could bring it back for free anytime something happened to it in the future but I never want to deal with them again. Total nightmare!
