The wait was minimal and ambiance was nice WITHOUT thumping music which I appreciate. Once the haircut began, the conversation started flowing and I really felt at home in the barber chair. Of course I was asked how I would like my haircut and felt like I was perfectly understood after a few clarifying questions. The owner /operator has a lot of life experience and clearly knows what he's doing and how to care for customers. Suffice to say I will certainly be returning here. Immediately greeted by both barbers and they both gave off just positive vibes. Didn't wait too long for my turn, and got what i asked for! (Unfortunatelywalk-in, and it , I didn't get the barber's name) but my barber was very welcoming, interactive, and very people-genic. He said that the shop is more focused of giving the best quality cuts rather than having expensive services. They care about the community and it really shows through the effort he put into my cut. Really enjoyed chatting with him and made my stay as if I was a regular! I don't live near the Kitsilano area, but this might be my new go-to spot for a fresh trim.
