I knew that she was very expensive in the past and I went here only because my normal place in Salem was too far. I could not go there for just a couple quick thin sweaters. I normally make one trip there in the summer for everything. When I went in there two weeks ago, she told me that my very thin sweaters not thick sweaters would be around $8.35 a piece. I wrote that down on my receipt when I left so that I knew. I knew she was still expensive for these thin sweaters, but I was willing to pay at this one time. Unfortunately, when there's only one dry cleaners in the area they can do whatever they want. When I went back there this Wednesday, she tried to tell me that my price was $35.85. I was shocked!! I couldn't even believe that that's what I heard and I told her no that's not what you told me and I said look at my receipt. This is what you told me and I looked her in the eye. She continued to argue. She did not want to refund me. She kept arguing with me and then eventually said well I'll give you a $10 credit. How about that? And I said no I don't ever want to come back here again. After I told her I would report this to Visa and that I would dispute it because I knew this was wrong . She then refunded me and voided the sale and charged me the normal price. I have never had anyone try to do this. It is a smooth, gypsy move that I have never experienced. Telling someone, one price then doing a full switch and bait!! I'm imagining she does this to people all the time and catches them off guard. Most people are embarrassed and don't want to say anything. On top of this imagine paying almost $12 for a thin ladies sweater. I have all types of sweaters I have thin, medium and thick. This is about $7.50 in Salem, maybe closer to $8.00 in McMinville. This review is about this location on 11th. So anyways I went to the one on River Road attempting to get some alterations and get a couple pieces cleaned. The lady informed me they don't have the lady that does the alterations at that location and I would have to go to the location on 11th. Which I was already slightly familiar with because I went in to get some prices on getting 2 pullover windbreakers dry cleaned and they wanted $25 a piece to dry clean 2 pull over windbreakers. Which I did not get done there. But I figured I would give them another chance and eventually made my way to this location on 11th. I dropped off 2 pieces of clothing to be dry cleaned assuming it couldn't be that much but was given a ticket for my items priced at $20. 1 dress shirt, 1 pair of dress pants it cost me $20 to get them dry cleaned. $18.98 to be exact! The alterations I ened up decided against right away because they wanted to charge me $30 just to put patches on a pair of jeans and $15 to put a piece of elastic around a top piece of material not even in the seam or anything just one single strip of elastic stitched on a piece of fabric. AND..... It was going to take 1 month to get them back... So needless to say I will continue to look to fine a better price place with a quicker turnaround.

Even their website still says "unfolding soon." The attendant on duty took time to explain how the machines work and why they're special. Hospital grade washing machines have a special sanitizing function in between loads, which cleans out the machines before your load starts. They're also highly efficient. As with other front loaders, they're meant to be almost stuffed to the top. My large load fit into their second smallest machine and only took 23 minutes to finish. There are 4 different sized washing machines. Currently they're having a promotion for first time visitors. Your first load for wash and dry are free! They even provided the "he" detergent and the use of wool balls, which make the dryers even more efficient. While the washing machine cost initially may seem pricey, considering the time savings (washing and drying took less than 50 minutes) and high efficiency, I think they're quite reasonable for front loaders. You would want to do a big load here to make it worthwhile. And IMHO the dryer prices are very reasonable, which should balance out the total cost. I've never been so hyped up about a laundromat (except for the one in Jasper, Alberta, but that was for a different reason)! Realize that this is still a new operation but let's hope that they maintain their machines well into the future. Would highly recommend!
