They know about different fabrics that have newer finishes on them. They were very careful and thorough, processing the dress through several times to get it just right. They even called to extend the service for one day so they could take their time. Both people who were at the counter were upbeat and friendly. I knew that she was very expensive in the past and I went here only because my normal place in Salem was too far. I could not go there for just a couple quick thin sweaters. I normally make one trip there in the summer for everything. When I went in there two weeks ago, she told me that my very thin sweaters not thick sweaters would be around $8.35 a piece. I wrote that down on my receipt when I left so that I knew. I knew she was still expensive for these thin sweaters, but I was willing to pay at this one time. Unfortunately, when there's only one dry cleaners in the area they can do whatever they want. When I went back there this Wednesday, she tried to tell me that my price was $35.85. I was shocked!! I couldn't even believe that that's what I heard and I told her no that's not what you told me and I said look at my receipt. This is what you told me and I looked her in the eye. She continued to argue. She did not want to refund me. She kept arguing with me and then eventually said well I'll give you a $10 credit. How about that? And I said no I don't ever want to come back here again. After I told her I would report this to Visa and that I would dispute it because I knew this was wrong . She then refunded me and voided the sale and charged me the normal price. I have never had anyone try to do this. It is a smooth, gypsy move that I have never experienced. Telling someone, one price then doing a full switch and bait!! I'm imagining she does this to people all the time and catches them off guard. Most people are embarrassed and don't want to say anything. On top of this imagine paying almost $12 for a thin ladies sweater. I have all types of sweaters I have thin, medium and thick. This is about $7.50 in Salem, maybe closer to $8.00 in McMinville. Please do not go here find somewhere else there are other dry cleaners in McMinville and in Salem I drive in order not to be completely ripped off. I can still save money even with the gas. No wonder people can't pay rent, buy food or gas because the people like this.

They actually had a tip jar next to the cash register and they were charging exorbitant prices with lots of attitude. The wonderful people that I knew at the old place I went to around the corner are now closed. However, I do remember this man from many years ago. He fixed a zipper on a blouse for me that was very reasonable, but I ended up going to the place around the corner because I just happen to go there. However, I'm so grateful he is still here. He gave me a very reasonable price on my coat today and my sweater will continue to keep coming back as long as he's open. PLEASE STAY IN BUSINESS WE NEED YOU!!

I just picked up a jacket ($25) and they DIDN'T EVEN CLEAN IT! I had to sponge off some spots at the cuff. I had a feeling something wasn't right when the cuff zippers were the same as when I took it in. One was partially closed and the other was open. Don't waste your $ on this rip off biz.

Was trying to find a dry cleaners and found one on River Road local to my house. Come to find out that is a sister location to this location on 11th, but bear with me! This review is about this location on 11th. So anyways I went to the one on River Road attempting to get some alterations and get a couple pieces cleaned. The lady informed me they don't have the lady that does the alterations at that location and I would have to go to the location on 11th. Which I was already slightly familiar with because I went in to get some prices on getting 2 pullover windbreakers dry cleaned and they wanted $25 a piece to dry clean 2 pull over windbreakers. Which I did not get done there. But I figured I would give them another chance and eventually made my way to this location on 11th. I dropped off 2 pieces of clothing to be dry cleaned assuming it couldn't be that much but was given a ticket for my items priced at $20. 1 dress shirt, 1 pair of dress pants it cost me $20 to get them dry cleaned. $18.98 to be exact! The alterations I ened up decided against right away because they wanted to charge me $30 just to put patches on a pair of jeans and $15 to put a piece of elastic around a top piece of material not even in the seam or anything just one single strip of elastic stitched on a piece of fabric. AND..... It was going to take 1 month to get them back... So needless to say I will continue to look to fine a better price place with a quicker turnaround.
