When I called them on Wednesday they told me it would be done by that afternoon. However, when I stopped by the building to pick up my elderly and disabled grandmother on Thanksgiving the elevators were still out of commission. Just for that alone I wouldn't move in here if it was free.

When I moved in I needed three windows, they ordered them and came to put them in and they were the wrong size, NEVER CAME BACK. Also was missing my shower door, just one, so I have half of it. They never came to put in, so I took other out and put a curtain up. Keep in mind I called and complained and left notes in my rent stubs as they were paid. first year of living here, air also goes out. they don't help with that either. My flooring started lifting and some caving. Asked them to fix that they don't cover that either. after ripping into the wall that they plastered over the water heater where the shut off valve is (STUPID) I found out the Water heater was missing the over flow, like a whole spot where it should be, and it was gone. The outside shed they have here, was rotting now my doors have fallen off. they don't replace those either. Oh and the skirting that was originally on the trailer was never placed right and the frame was all bent up from previous storms. with that said skirting blew away, insulation is tore up and misplaced. And then as said in another review, they wait until you arent home to leave a note and threaten you, so you fix it. and the winter checks, no they only do a select few. I've watched them (I'm a window peeker and not ashamed.) I admit I've over stayed my time here after all these issues, but trying to stay up with the maintenance, parts, rent, and other bills my family have it feels impossible. But I feel other families should know how horrible this place is so they aren't stuck in this position as I am.

The people on the 2nd floor below me have to suffer when i walk up here, due to it sounding like I am stomping ....but I am not stomping. The berber carpet has virtually No padding, thus the 2nd floor hear every step I take. In fact, the floor even vibrates. I mentioned this to the office staff, they explained that the building is old, but sturdy. Which is true, as far as i can tell. My apartment inside is awesome, however; the appearance of the complex, namely its 1970-ish look should be updated. It reminds me of Kings Court in Miami Florida when I lived there and Donnie Brasco was there. But for the price you cant beat this place. It is close to every thing, I just love it here. Oh, my other gripe was that this building I am in, only has one washer and dryer for 12 units. Thats like crazy. The last place I rented via RentDotcom was in Orchard Park, NY, and it had 12 units but had 5 washers and dryers for the building. Currently I have like 40 lbs of laundry to do and cant seem to get to the washer before anyone else. So I have decided to sort through my laundry and throw out most of it. Oh well. Thats life. So to sum up my opinion, this is a Great Place to live! Oh, if you have pets, they have a Pet Building here! Very nice! I wish I had brought my dog, Im so lonely here. But thats another story. The place has a nice pond area and the staff is friendly ! They are rather quick when it comes to maintenance and usually correct the problem within a day and respond back quickly. They shovel and keep the area maintained well! Overall I am happy with the place and will probably continue to stay here until I graduate college.

I reported it for 3 years and was lied to everytime I called to have it get fixed. I also had a crack in the foundation that was not properly fixed and my apartment got mold. Chatwell Club/Five group management is well aware of the mold problems with these ranch apartments. They never really fixed the problem and they allow people to move in and become sick. I've read several other posts from a while back of other people that were concerned about the effects of mold with tenants living there. If you take a drive you'll see they can't even power wash the outside of the apartments they're full of algae and mold and have been like that for 3 years now. You will also notice with the ranch apartments they leave the crawl space windows wide open for the ventilation that they are lacking to try to combat the mold problem.They do not maintain their apartments appropriately and are only interested in making money. Management will lie like a snakes. Chatwell Club/five groups management company does not care about you or your family. I am grateful now that I am living in a better complex that really takes care of their property. I feel better physically. You really have to have discernment and be aware of the shady apartment complexes that are out there.
