This was my go-to Urgent Care but it fell apart over the past year. The worst experience I had was…read morejust now: my child accidentally dropped prescribed antibiotics and I called to see about another prescription only to be told I need to pay for a consult if I want the prescription sent to my pharmacy. When I refused to and wanted to speak to someone else the lady on the phone just laughed it off and hung up. I called back but the same person keeps answering shutting me down. A few months ago their system was down so I had to pay out of pocket and file an insurance claim because even though they had me on file they would not take the time to make the phone call to my insurance for eligibility and wait until their system was back up, they need the money up front. Sure I let that one slide but now this? Totally unreasonable place. I have to either go pay another consult and of course wait through the whole thing again or choose another place where one is treated like a patient and not a commercial transaction.

Your loss Delray Pharmacy bc I was going to transfer my scripts (10+ monthly ) plus compound and transfer my parents over . Delray pharmacy could have had an increase in scripts by at least 30 monthly . Thousands of dollars could have been added to your monthly take . Your lesson for the day - Communication and coordination.

Although the lobby was busy, they were so thorough with me with my treatment and were able to get me a test right away(Results were negative and in the following morning) They sent me home with medication that would either work for a respiratory infection or Covid. If the medication isn't available or unlikely to be in stock, patients should be told that clearly so they can make other arrangements...not kept in a weekly loop without resolution. In one call I was told they have a list of regular patients waiting for their meds to be filled. Hearing this and adding the rest of my experience with this pharmacy made it feel like my I was no priority and that maybe this would be an ongoing issue. At a certain point, repeatedly stringing patients along without a realistic expectation of filling their prescriptions raises concerns about whether patients are being given accurate information to access their medication in a timely way. After that second send, I heard the staff in the back admitting to each other that their system was "taking forever for prescriptions to come through." Despite knowing the delay was their fault, they gaslighted me. They acted like I "didn't know what I was doing" and treated me like a massive burden. The second they realized they couldn't just put a prescription in my hand, their attitude completely flipped. It felt like I was being discriminated against based on my prescription type. While they were "buddy-buddy" with other customers, they treated me like a peasant because I required more than two minutes of their time. The disrespect peaked when I said I'd just go elsewhere and Chris literally laughed in my face. I am leaving for a business trip and need my medication. There is nothing "funny" about a pharmacy playing favorites and judging patients. I already took my business elsewhere in October for the same reason.
