I was disappointed with attorney James Kingsley. While he may have many years of experience practicing law, that experience did not translate well to criminal litigation in my experience. His performance during jury trial proceedings, particularly during cross-examination, left a lot to be desired. He appeared to struggle with courtroom strategy, questioning, and effectively presenting his case to the jury.
In my opinion, Mr. Kingsley would be better suited to civil matters and should leave serious criminal litigation to attorneys who regularly handle that type of courtroom work. Criminal trials require confidence, preparation, sharp cross-examination skills, and the ability to think quickly on your feet. Unfortunately, I did not see those qualities demonstrated here.
