I came here on the weekend with a party of six to tear up the tracks and have a merry 'ole Sunday adventure - and I was not disappointed. Although we are grown-ass men and women, this is a place of fun for all ages. Zipping around the Le Mans track provided excitement (some bruises) but generally a great sense of comradery with my buddies who are seemingly better than me at every sport.
Despite constantly losing or coming in the bottom three, I had a magical time and felt that my driving skills had improved from my first to fourth race. Although it is quite a costly activity ($110 + $5.50 registration for 4x 10 minute races), it was a very entertaining day for myself and friends. The Pit-Stop Cafe is reasonably priced, though very lacking in healthy choices for it's patrons - it's fried food or it's (almost) nothing. Luckily you are able to rent a locker for your stay, which I would highly recommend storing an esky filled with your own food and beverages.
Is a great day out with the kids as there's several smaller tracks available, jumping castle and smaller amusement rides - including a flight simulator! Huzzah! But for those big kids, take the plunge on the Bungee crane ($139) as you watch other zipping around the track! read more
