The loss of one star is due to the fact that when items were moved away from the house so they could spray, they didn't return the items back where they belonged (i.e. An outdoor patio table, BBQ grill, etc.). I hired a company to do this job as I am currently physically unable to do the job myself and having to move these items back to their original location was just something I hadn't anticipated. A few minutes to move these things back would have made a world of difference to me and would have earned them a 5 star rating. Regardless, I highly recommend HVCS and will use them again in the future if needed.

I didn't think anything of it when there were 10-15 packs of shingles left over, until later when I saw that these areas had not been done. In addition, the ceiling in a room upstairs goes up to the roof and many, many roof in jails came through it. Eventually I hired someone else to cut all of the nails off. Despite this, there unfortunately was still a misunderstanding on our end. We reviewed the reports and decided to get both the creosote treatment and boiler liner installation. Dave and Matt came to do those and were friendly, efficient and clean. Later, when my husband looked at the work they did, it did not appear to be what we were previous told it would be at the initial inspection. We expected masonry and busting through the cinderblock and there didn't seem to be any of that. We wanted to make sure they were doing what we had been told they would do. We called and spoke to the owner, Robbie, who listened attentively to my husband's concerns. He very professionally and calmly explained the misunderstanding and apologized, explaining that honest work and customer satisfaction is of their upmost priority.
