Darüber hinaus werden hier Snacks und Getränke angeboten, die in den Multiplex-Kinos nicht erhältlich sind. Außerdem werden Filme gezeigt, die in den großen Kinos nur selten oder überhaupt nicht gezeigt werden. Ein weiterer Vorteil des Kinos ist die kürzere Werbepause, in der nur die kommenden Filme beworben werden. Allerdings kann dies auch verwirrend sein, da einige Werbespots so gestaltet sind, dass man denken könnte, man sitze bereits in einem anderen Film.

It's quite hard to watch films in English here, so I was very happy. The cinema is quite small, actually it's only the screening room with a small desk where you can buy tickets and some snacks and drinks. Unfortunately they don't sell popcorn. The place was full, some people required spare seats to sit down besides the wall. The seats were not the most comfortable, but I was satisfied.

The waiting area has amazing chandelirs and just brings you back into a different era. The reason why I am only giving 3 points is, because the bathrooms are simply disguisting, they are old and smell, so try not to use the bathroom here. Secondly, the entire theater is pretty dusty and since I am allergic to dust it is a problem for me. The interior of the theater is really nice though.

BUT... it is very small, the seats are not really comfortable, no holders for drinks or hand bags, it gets quite stuffy at the end of the show.. AND what I really found not-up-to-date and annoying: even if you buy tickets in advance, you have to come at least a half an hour earlier to queue in an impatient mass of people, waiting for the former show to end, the former audience to come out (there is no separate exit!) and then RUN and FIGHT for good seats as Kant Kino in 2015 still hasn't managed to organize a ticket/selling system combined with seats reservation. I guess the cinemas of Yorck Group generally don"t sell seats reservations, but somehow it all works better in other locations. To sum up - I'm sorry to say that but I guess I will try to avoid Kant Kino in the future - not due to its program but due to its bad logistic conditions.
