We are very happy with the school. The staff is very caring and knowledgeable. We enrolled our daughter elsewhere and had a terrible experience, after only been in at Kinovu for a week she is doing much better than she ever did at the other place. This school does everything right. The programs are top of the line with yoga, music and cooking class as well as sensory activities. The only thing is the classroom sizes are overwhelming for a small toddler to get the assimilation they need at commencement. Down the line when the child integrates it's great, just tough to watch the first month when the children are crying so much. My child loves going there now and asks for his teacher even when he's not in school, which is a great sign! Also, they work with the ELC program which helps get help to pay for tuition. The schedule is pretty flexible and they have an open door policy for full transparency in the classroom setting. All settling for us. I am more than pleased with this school. read more

I changed my son from the Cambridge in Coral Springs to The VIP Kids in Weston. I had a good 2 years in Cambridge but when my son started in August 2015 the new year the Bilingual program it was horrible. The classroom had 14 kids but if you were there seems like 30. The principal treated me like i wasnt paying or they were doing me a favor. So, i changed my son to the VIP that was closest to our works and it was the best decision we could ever made. Mu husband is american and I'm latin. In the VIP i have the best of all worlds. The method they use to teach kids is unbelievable. I cannot be more happy with the results my son had on this school year... Will recommend VIP Kids to anyone. read more

I've been wanting to write a review.. and finally found the time and the perfect words I feel in my hart... as it will sound a cliche or tawdriness I have the need to say it... Kinovu has been better than I've never dream it will be.. I know my daughter is a tough girl, even thought she can be the sweetest and lovely some times, she is not easy at all... and I can tell that in Kinovu she had learned to be respectful, follow directions, follow routines, and not because the teacher told her, but because she really understands why is better this way!! She had explained me in her words why is better to eat broccoli than eat a candy!! Of course she loves candies and donas!! And a lot of different a things that she has learned and put into practice at home since the month after she begin at the preschool when she was only 1 and a half years old... of course she got sick, and she was bitten, and she had some "fights" with other kids... but she had learned what is good and what is bad... and she talk in English and in Spanish amazingly!!!!! Now she is 4 years old... and next year will be our last.. and I feel completely confident she will be more than prepare and ready to jump into a big school... I know choosing Kinovu was the first more difficult decision I made for my girl and it was totally right!! Thanks to each and every one of the amazing teachers and directors and all the beautiful persons that work with love and dedication to make this preschool one of a kind and the best to educate and take care of my precious treasure. read more

Fantastic school! I have two daughters enrolled and they love it! I love it too! My daughters come home telling us about the things they learned throughout the day. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. They get to know you and always have a smile on their faces. I cannot say enough about them. We originally picked this preschool because of the proximity to my workplace. I could literally see the playground located in the back of building from my office window. It is certainly not the least expensive facility but we have noticed that our daughter has learned so much from the staff. The instruction is in English but most all of the staff is fluent in Spanish as well. I am also fluent in Spanish however I rely on them to expose her to Spanish just as I do at home. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is because there should be a higher level of English in each of the instructors. I serve as translator if some of the bilingual staff is unavailable for my wife. Love the school, you won't be disappointed. read more

Putting our first child in a place away from home was no easy task or decision. We took our time to investigate and explore the best place he could be without his parents. Once we came across Kinovu, we immediately felt like it was an extension from our home. From the nice cozy feel of the place, to the sweetest teachers I have met. We had no hesitation on leaving our child in a place he will feel loved and pampered. We are all extremely happy about our son's advances in this period of time. Sit down for a long yet full of insight review after over a year of enrollment... Good school, good program, good teachers, horrible at following through with policies in place to ensure others kids safety. I had to end up pulling my daughter out due to their lack of action with an aggressive child that caused skin lacerations and permanent marks with bites and scratches, 3 times to be exact in less than 6 months all in the face yet they didn't see a pattern enough to care and chose to use their "better judgement based on experience" and call this "normal 2 1/2 year old behavior" and try to excuse this as a reaction to my daughter wanting to play with her (they said taking a toy from her yet video shows no toy) calling that a "negative behavior" and trying to compare it to her (the adult) taking my phone from me as something I wouldn't like (yeah I didn't see how that would be a good example either)... Newsflash even if that was the case THAT IS NORMAL 2 1/2 YEAR OLD BEHAVIOR! Typically bites and other forms of physical aggressions are used for communication but not on the face, the face is just anger and violence specially nearing the 3s . If she is acting like this because she can't communicate as they say (kid speaks very well) then she obviously needs extra resources that they're unable to accommodate. I rate the aggressions as compulsive (ruthless as shown to me in the video footage), yet they state that because the girl doesn't chase to strike, my child is in the wrong for insisting to play, oh I'm sorry for my child being socially acceptable and meeting an actual milestone! They're basically in violation as per DCF for not enforcing their expulsion policy that states that if there's a behavior that can't be resolved such as a child is a risk to others, needs one on one or special needs that they can't accommodate (which she obviously needs a shadow or further evaluation by a certified professional in behavior) it is their discretion to decide an expulsion. After 3 meetings, the same outcome, "they have to work with the problematic child and parents to help them" and giving me no options, no moving the girl up, no holding mine back, no shadowing, no suspensions, no immediate removal from class after incidents and no expulsion, my kid and I'm sure others continue to get hurt while they keep a good relationship with their fellow countrymen. Poorly handled, they don't really know what the next step is they have to take when a situation like this arises in order to keep a safe environment for all of the children. So if you're in the early 2s currently and your kid continues to get physically assaulted by a girl, that girl will somehow be favored unfortunately. I guess from a business standpoint it was best for them to lose 1 instead of 2 kids that are enrolled in the school from that family. But I wasn't going to wait around to see what was coming next. Again, curriculum at the school is great and important, and my daughter enjoyed it, but so is the safety and well being of my child. My child spends most of her day at the preschool so I expect and trust her to be well taken care of and thriving while in someone elses care when it is their sole duty to protect her from all means of harm while in their care. I've had other concerns as a mother such as sanitation; my daughter was always sick because kids kept sharing toys from mouth to mouth which was normal in that age group but the toys weren't being put a side to avoid this spread, I expressed my concern and it was corrected, voice was raised (actually my daughter was yelled at causing her to cry non stop) this was also addressed, all these things I could deal with and was happy my valid concerns weren't being disregarded, I thought they were honest and it was reassuring for me as an actively involved parent to place my trust in them. In my opinion my daughter's health, emotional and physical wellbeing is not something out of the ordinary so I expected this to be handled accordingly not because being mandated to but because they truly put their kids first. My daughter will now have to go through the separation and adaptation process due to someone else's not so better judgement, but it is my responsibility to ensure her safety when the school failed her. Over 48 hours after exit survey and I haven't received a follow up call. read more

From the moment I walked through those doors my maternal instincts told me this would be the best environment for my kid and I was right! Excellent, loving and happy preschool! My daughter has been there since January this year and my son is in their summer camp now. It is a very special place where kids are encourage to think a lot, even the smallest ones! A big plus for me is their bilingual curriculum since we speak Spanish at home. Teachers and staff truly care for every child there. There is no better feeling than when your 22mo child lets go your hand to join her circle time with her friends and teacher. This is school is full of warm and loving teachers and staff. My child comes home everyday happy and is excited to go to school everyday. She amazes me with the amount of things she learns on a daily basis. For a child that just turned 2 she can count to 5, say please and thank you, and identify shapes and colors. My daughter started going to VIP in Weston in August of last year. She absolutely LOVES it and so do I. The teachers are loving and amazing. I have seen her become more mature and learn how to socialize and be independent. She has fun everyday but also learns something new. I feel confident everyday when I drop her off that she is being taken care with love and respect. They take extra care in making learning fun for the kids and to make them develop creative skills and think outside the box.
