Its a huge hodge-podge store with a lot of everything. You need to have some time and patience to scan the shelves, or come with a list knowing what you want. I have had nothing but good experiences with all the staff and the store manager at this location. I purchased the two cabinets that you see in the photos that are on the first (primary) photo page for their business. They were damaged and I purchased them at a sweet deal price. The damages are not immediately noticeable. Since then.. I have been back several times... as my addiction keeps bringing me back. For such a small space, there were groups of 3-4 people entering at a time. I came here for one specific item but decided to browse the store. I arrived here earlier in the evening so I guess that's prime time here. I have only been to one other Five Below and it was only a handful of times. This store I feel is more geared towards children and adolescents but there are some great finds for adults. The candy selection is great for any age. I like how you can buy pieces of individual candies as opposed to a whole bag. There are books, cookbooks, decorations, electronics, and clothing for adults. In fact, I saw they sold a book I recommended to hundreds of clients to integrate better communication in their relationships! I finally got annoyed with the chaos and noise that I don't think I made it through the entire store. I luckily found my item and picked up some candy pieces. I decided on self checkout since there were so many available. That process was very complicated as well. There was a staff member assisting customers with self checkout, which kind of defeats the purpose but he was busy for sure. The prices are very reasonable and it can be easy to spend a lot in here!

A few years ago they wisely decided to expand the location to double it's size. Wow! What a difference it made and they began to carry a larger variety of items. Sometimes though things that seems better aren't necessarily so. I began to learn this over time as I would see more and more items out of place. It has become so bad that merchandise is just thrown everywhere. I'm not sure if they need more staff or they just don't have time to pick it all up and put it where it belongs. Expanding the store though didn't solve the long line problem. Now there's just more room for long lines. :)

There CAN be some deals. Sometimes. Many times there are no deals. Housewares, Linens, Luggage, Tableware are all overpriced and sitting at the top of that range that should be charged for these items. You can get many comparable and exact same items elsewhere for much cheaper. Shoes? Very well priced especially for their sale racks. Handbags? Some cute some very well priced and some in the stratosphere. Dillards actually caries real Luis Vuitton handbags and luggage but.... I am not an LV consumer. Clothes... great when there are sales. You have to watch for deals, coupons and price slashing before during and after holidays. I was just recently very successful with the purchase of a makeup bag that is perfect for my trip coming up. Normally I wouldn't pay $48.00 actually $52.00 for a makeup bag but I believe I will keep this one for quite some time. The lady that helped me in the cosmetics section kept me in her "sights" while I was shopping around the entire store... she didn't want to miss getting credit for my purchase. I liked her though... we had a laugh or two.
