I want to thank Dawn & Sebastien for their unmatched hospitality. Even with a newly born they find…read morethe time to attend their guests in a genuine and caring way. I appreciate everything that was done for us and I would definitely recommend this to family, friends, yelp users and anybody looking to find a very peaceful place with attentive and helpful hosts. They even make you feel like at home before you get to Canada! Very professional and respectful. This is the type of place you would go back to just because of how well you were treated! The well kept room was fully stocked; towels, fridge, snacks, robes and shampoo/conditioner in bathroom, private deck, lots of privacy, among other things. They advise you where to go eat and even get you a discount at some restaurants, they have a tiki bar with speakers, a hammock, spacy yard setup (great for kids), etc. There are restaurants and bars walking distance so no need to worry about drinking and driving. They go out of their way to make you feel like at home. All in all I would recommend this to anybody looking to have a great getaway and as I write this I am debating what day I should come back to this beautiful place! Also, if you are into bungee jumping they help you schedule your jump at Great Canadian Bungee (4.6 stars) and help you save money by discounting the price if you stay here and do the jump!

We first found them from Trip advisor she practically has 5 stars ! I have never been to a place where 99.99% of her reviews are all postive! Anyway we drove up here since we were going to Great Canadian Bungee , and this place is only about a 5 minute drive from the place. She did all the booking for us which was awesome ! We arrived and everything was perfect. The room was gorgeous we stayed at the fantasy suite. Had our own personal balcony , a mini kitchen and lounge area. The room was very clean no complaints at all. Did I say the decoration was gorgeous in our room ? Because it was ! They have a huge backyard and if you have kids they have a play set for them as well. They also have a little tiki bar in the backyard. The landscaping is wonderful thry have a little bit of everything for everyone . The village is about a 10-15 min walk no need to drive. She gave us her personal recommendations and they were also great. Dawn and Sebastian were very welcoming and make you feel like your at home . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, a nice relaxing getaway.

I didn't mind them. The bed was comfortable and the decor is quaint. Breakfast was good. I had the French toast and my boyfriend had the omelet. It came with fruit salad, drinks and cheese. Pierre, the owner, is an amicable person who recommended a lot of places to visit and is the reason my boyfriend came back from his previous experience here and brought me along this time. Overall, it was an enjoyable place and I had good experience here.

Run by a caring and friendly individual, Pierre Marc, will go out of his way to make sure you have the perfect Ottawa experience. PM has lived in Ottawa his entire life and knows the city inside and out, and is very knowledgeable in local attractions. He can make sure you find the perfect spot for you and your party. His B&B is located in a beautiful historical building and is a walk from everything you need in Ottawa. Plus, he lives right next door - so he is always ready to help. His rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. There are two bathrooms (and one room with another private bathroom) that are also clean and charming. The best part about your stay is the breakfast he will make you. You have many options: eggs, toast, crepes, croissants, cheese (oh, the cheese!), jams, cereal. Whatever you may want - he will prepare it for you. Also, he buys everything from local farmers and markets to fully support the local economy. Great host, great rooms, and great breakfast - all in the perfect location. What else would one want from a B&B?!

Really enjoyed our stay this past weekend at Moonstone Manor!…read more This B&B is located in a large, newly renovated home. There are three guest suites each meant for two adults, so at any given time there are at max 6 adult guests. Combined with being out in the country, this means that it is nice and QUIET! A rare and refreshing quality. There are many things to praise but I cannot continue without mentioning that Susie and Mark, the owners, are the best asset of this business. They are both incredibly welcoming, hospitable, and attentive, while also being conscious of giving you space as a guest to do your thing. Upon checking in, Susie sat down with us to discuss breakfast. She is careful to note any allergies or aversions, and to review the menu in advance! We were able to schedule our breakfast for any time between 7-9am. Breakfast itself was generous and more importantly, delicious! We had yogurt with fruit and homemade granola, quiche, potatoes, a stuffed tomato, juice, and all the coffee we could drink. The last thing I want to focus on is that this house is remarkably CLEAN. Susie and Mark have two friendly, quiet dogs and two cats, but unless you are looking right at them you'd never know it. I am actually allergic to dogs and cats, and had zero reaction during my two night stay. In her past Susie worked in a healthcare field and it shows...this is one of the cleanest houses I've ever been in. But it did not feel sterile and cold, quite the opposite. I happened to be visiting for a wedding in Kanata but I will happily stay at Moonstone Manor anytime I need to be in the Ottawa area. It's a quick 20 minute drive downtown to the ByWard Market/Parliament/National Gallery/etc. I can't see myself ever getting a hotel in the city knowing that this is an option. All that to say, if you are thinking of staying here, do it!

Breakfast is really good Susie will ask on day of check in what you like for breakfast and at what time and breakfast is ready at that time. Its close to Ottawa and the Canadian Tire Centre.
