My BF told me he needed a new mattress, but I didnt realize how much bed prices had skyrocketed. I…read moresaw on naplab, that bedinabox original mattress got a high rating. I bought the bed on July 4th and got a queen for $635, which is a great value. My BF said the bed is cooling, which is important because he's a hot sleeper. In addition, his last bed was giving him back pain; which is now gone with the new mattress.

I'll first review about the location. It's fairly easy to find with GPS. We drove from Knoxville…read moreand got right to it. The showroom is a little tight but they have the selection of every product they carry. Their people working there are not hovering or pushy and will let you try and interact at your own pace. And having been aggravated at other places this was a nice breath of fresh air. Now I'll add a tidbit for the mattress. We shopped hard for this: read reviews, read sleep like the dead, endured other company showrooms, laid on at least a hundred different beds. We finally had two other mattresses as a basis of comparison to use against our choice at BIAB: the tempurpedic cloud luxe breeze and the sleep number i8. We ruled out sleepnumber due to the reasons of having to maintain upkeep on the electronic equipment to keep air in the mattress in the long run. We ruled out the TempurPedic mattress because in comparison to the BedInABox Serenity Cooling Memory Foam the price was too high and getting it too our door too inconvenient. We ended up going with the Bed In A Box Serenity Cooling Memory Foam in a king size. We also bought the base. And as advertised the bed was built and arrived to our door in a timely manner. Me and my friend got the bed and base upstairs pretty easy. The base was easy to assemble and had all parts. The bed came open easy and came out to full size in less than a minute. After that we let it air out for 24-36 hours and was good to go. So in conclusion if you are nearby in the area and wondered...then hopefully this will help you take that next step in the door. Life is too short to sleep uncomfortably!

Hello. Bristol Native here. I believe in supporting small businesses especially in my hometown. I…read moregrew up here and with all the changes being made to the city I believe it's important to support our hard-working small business owners in time where it's hard to survive. I purchased a king mattress and box spring, along with a queen mattress and box spring, for a total of $2,248.37 including tax. I was coming into town after unexpectedly losing my sister. I needed somewhere last minute to stay and decided to furnish my developing Airbnb as a last resort. The king mattress was unable to be brought through the hallway stairs but after measuring the king was not going to fit in the room I designed it for. I contacted the owner and explained the situation. Although the receipt stated "all sales final," the owner agreed to make an exception and specifically told me he would process a refund for the king mattress set with only a $100 pickup fee. I would like to emphasize that pick up team was delightful and fully understanding of my situation. (I can add that they agreed with you) When the delivery team arrived to pick up the king mattress, they appeared unaware it was being returned and initially attempted to bring it inside. I clarified it was a return, they called the owner. At that point, after already agreeing to the refund, the owner changed the terms. He accused my me of lying about the reason for the return and suddenly added a 25% restocking fee on top of the previously agreed $100 pickup fee. He was under the impression his team could make it fit as if we had not already discussed and agreed upon the reason and decision for a refund. I was grateful to be getting any refund at all, but to accuse me of lying about not being able to fit the mattress upstairs and not notifying the pick up people of the return to check my validity was absolutely unprofessional. In the end, my father received only $765 back for the returned king mattress and box spring. Based on the purchase, the company retained approximately $523 from the return (including the pickup fee), despite the owner's original agreement to refund it for only a $100 pickup charge. Businesses certainly have the right to enforce return policies. What disappointed us was that the owner first made one agreement, then changed the terms after the pickup crew had already arrived. If the final policy was going to be a 25% restocking fee plus a pickup fee, that should have been disclosed from the beginning--not after a refund had already been promised. We understand businesses need policies, but we also believe a person's word matters. We cannot recommend a company that changes the financial terms of an agreement after the fact.

Sub par service, poor management, and my recommendation is to support other local businesses that…read moretruly deserve your money and Actually care.

Finally I said I'm going to check local because I'm tired of driving to look. I walk in and Matt was there to help me, and I have furnished 90% of my house from this one store. The customer service is outstanding the delivery when they come to deliver my things and set up is outstanding. I go to see Matt for everything I need for my house whether it's furniture or my appliances he gives great advice if I'm looking for something in town like I'm looking for you know a plumber. I can absolutely trust his recommendations. I just cannot say enough of good things about this store And the customer service and not just from Matt Matt's my favorite that's who I always go see, but everybody in the entire store is extremely helpful and polite. If you see something in there, a couch or chair and you like it, but you don't like the material they can have that made for you in whatever material that you want, they will let you know how long it's gonna take, and the cost. Once again, outstanding customer service. The prices are awesome too.!

We couldn't be happier and will certainly return in the future should the need arise.

Upon inquiring about the warranty for the sofa we were told that if anything was wrong that he would ensure that the issue was taken care of and if it could not be corrected he would trade out for a new sofa. After having the sofa for only a couple of months it started breaking down. When we contacted the store manager about this issue we were once again "ASSURED" that he would rectify the issue and if the issue could not be fixed, he would offer a new replacement sofa. This did not happen. While the store manager did try to fix what he thought was the issue it did not work. And now the store manager is not standing behind his words/promise to us. We were told it's up to his regional manager. So bottom line is that his "Promise"/"ASSURANCE" was nothing but puffing (blowing smoke to make a sale). This store is NO LONGER our go to store for furniture. If you tell a customer (or anyone) that you will stand behind the item sold, then honor your words. This is definitely bad customer service and leaves no room for recommendations to others to shop at this store!!
