We came to see the Sculpture "The Awakening" which is a massive sculpture of a giant who is struggling to get out of the ground. Its northern point links to the City Centre Trail to City Centre Park on Mexico Road. At the southern point at Willott Road it links to Country Creek Trail to Covenant Park. An eastern spur connects to Alan Oscar Park. A baseball diamond, basketball court, two tennis courts, and football/soccer field cover sports interests in Spencer Creek Park. Two picnic pavilions and a large playground, which includes musical elements, will appeal to families. Restrooms available.
