I am a retired law enforcement officer from California, so we learn over the years; we learn to read people, and I could tell he was genuinely saddened and cared. He cared very much for my father, including placing a pillow under my dad's head and covering him with a beautiful blanket. I hated to admit it to my brother, but he did a great job, and I can never speak highly enough of this company; The aunt and nephew treated us like family, not like clients.

We are happy knowing she can now rest in peace. Dissatisfied is an understatement. My mother changed her funeral plans to Alexander East 10 days prior to her passing so that she could be certain of a smooth funeral, without incident. She was laid to rest on May 14, where the family noted her headstone had been turned around backwards. We learned that the vault company knocked it over and replaced it in the wrong location. The grounds keeper at the cemetery told them it was wrong and they argued. Our funeral director, Jon Alexander, was told at the burial. We are now at over 2 months past that time, many phone calls have been made, text messages have been sent and no one seems to care that our mother, who tried so hard to have everything pre-done and correct, is being disrespected. Would a return call to the family with a date of expected corrections of the problem be too much to ask? Losing a loved one is hard enough without the added stress of dealing with this.
