We purchased, paid for, and accepted delivery in the same day. This time however, our purchase ( mattresses and motion base) needed to be ordered. Our main issue is that no one from Herron's will return our phone calls after leaving multiple messages. All we wanted was an update on our order status. Our salesman Michael, promised to get back with us after speaking to him on Labor Day in the store. This of course never happened. We then called back and left multiple messages for Randall the sales manager, none of which were retuned. This was no small order we placed. Based on this experience we will no longer consider Herron's for future purchases. The lack of customer service is troubling, especially when one spends as much as we did.

Our first stop was Baldy's Furniture in Wauseon, OH. We were greeted when we walked in, allowed to explore the store with no pressure. While we tried different mattresses, a salesman checked on us, not too often, not too little, then when we made out decision, our salesman was nearby, easy to find and we completed our transaction. We had the mattress delivered a few days later. On the day morning the mattress was to be delivered, I received a call that they were short a deliveryman, so my mattress would be delivered in the afternoon. The caller was relieved I was not upset, (I know things happen), and apologetic. Early that afternoon, I received a call they were on their way and would be there in half an hour. They were right on time. Good Customer Service, GOOD communication, good quality furniture and a very fair price. I HIGHLY recommend Baldy's Furniture!

Currently, the owners are bringing out items from an estate sale. I talked with the owner and learned that there is a Facebook page. Items are posted regularly for shoppers to comment "sold," then pick up and purchase in the next few days before it is returned to inventory. Part museum-like or like walking into my elderly parents' home, I enjoyed looking around. A lot of items are newer, so they're usable or wearable. Many items are for display or for your collective passion. Inventory depends are items the owners find. I purchased new scarves/gloves, pair of new shoes, a few rag rugs that washed nicely, and a Snow Baby figurine. There was a large collection of them. Shipping with postage is available. The shop is handicapped accessible, and a parking spot is at the door. If you're into resale, check it out.

I might need to wait a few minutes to talk to that person, but it is always worth it. They often offer to order what I need if it is not in stock. Recently, one of the employees explained how to replace the cartridge in one of my faucets and open a box to show me the parts. While you may see this as a very simple task, for me it was huge. I could do this myself instead of calling a plumber. While the prices are sometimes a bit higher than the box stores, I don't have to drive, I know there will be someone to help, and I walk out with what I need and more knowledge.
