This went on for 2 months until I finally got frustrated and the owner got an attitude with me when I mentioned calling the BBB on him and what was so difficult about a phone call and appointment to just look at the carpet to see what could or could not be done. show up after 2 months of follow up calls every Friday to get an appointment to be told nothing they can do just leave it. after this incident a close friend asked about them and I said that the installation is great, but I had bad experiences with the manager. When he got his carpet installed he was lucky he was home and asked about the padding and that it didn't seem like the right kind. They reassured him it was and had it stapled down and ready to put the carpet down. Long behold after he did some investigating it was in fact a cheaper padding that what he ordered. If he was not home they would have got away with it. Once called out they drove back and installed the right padded. back to my experience. Calling them back recently I asked about the carpet in my basement being finished off. I know that the color batch might not be exact, but I wasn't too worried about that. He said he would call me back after he found my order. No problem. Calls me back and says that the carpet is no longer being manufactured and that he can't get it. They only make carpet for 2 years sometimes and this one is not available anymore. I then called back a couple hours later and asked for the style, color and manufacturer. I had a feeling something was up. He called me back and gave me the information. I called a few other stored and looked it up online with no issues. Both stored called back and said it was easily obtainable through Mohawk. At this point if I would have took his word for it I would have been looking at different way more expensive ways to finish off my basement. I Called them back and asked what the deal was and they said that it wasn't on their price list and that they have a competitors carpet they use instead now. He then said it was available. so i said lets order it and he then stated we don't want the job. simply state that in the first place if you don't want to deal with me. As a small business you think keeping a good reputation with the community would be one of your key objective. Not these guys. I would 100% recommend any other business over Genoa Custom Interiors.

They will take your money up front but refuse to stand behind their work. I had several concerns immediately after my floor was installed. I was reassured that they would stand behind their product and workmanship if any issues were to arise. Sure enough my early concerns became a reality. I have contacted them by phone and email several times and have not had a response. Was told on the phone they would call me back but haven't yet. They worked really hard to get my money but aren't willing to even talk to me about my concerns now. Their slogan is "We don't want all the business...just your business." Well they should change it to "We don't want to screw everyone...just you!" Very disappointed by a company I initially trusted and spoke highly about!

Unfortunately, we have not had a positive experience with Perrysburg Flooring. We ordered new…read moreflooring over 9 months ago, and the project is still not fully complete. The flooring that was installed in three rooms was not the same floor we ordered--the color run of the batch installed was significantly off from what we selected. This was only realized after the full installation was completed. Manny and the team initially proposed ripping the floor up, but given the disruption involved (moving appliances, removing toilets, etc.), we ultimately settled on keeping the installed floor. Fast forward nine months, and we are still waiting on transition strips so the project can be considered complete. We have made multiple attempts to get this resolved. Perrysburg Flooring has since said they can't locate the strips, has asked us to re-measure ourselves, and continues to push out installation dates while citing backorders. At this point, it feels more like scrambling than follow-through, and we're not confident the strips--if they arrive--will even match the installed flooring. Overall, communication, accountability, and execution have been far from ideal. Based on our experience, I would not recommend working with Perrysburg Flooring.

The overall quote was reasonable & I had no problems until the point that I was dissatisfied with the transition piece between kitchen & dining area. Most recently, the transition was glued down, but literally did not stick. I can pick it up. It also is not quite long enough & there is a gap between the wall and wood. He does an excellent job of hanging pictures, which I greatly appreciated as a side courtesy. but his level of responsiveness dropped from a 10 to a 0 at this point. Nothing is urgent on my end, but a simple acknowledgement of my text of concerns & pics of the issue would be appreciated. I feel disrespected to be completely ignored after investing a good sum of money in my wood floors with a guarantee of satisfaction. I am not seeking to bash this company; to the contrary, I simply would appreciate acknowledging the problem with a plan to follow up.
