The second part was the installation. The crew started with installing the counters and sinks in the bathrooms. Next they began working on the kitchen. During the installation, the installer received a phone call that his wife began ill and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He took the time to make sure the plumbing connections could be made, so we wouldn't be left with a kitchen that couldn't be used before he left. Part 3, Codi the installation manager came to expertly put the final touches on the install. The counters look beautiful. In the end, the counters and sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen look great and most importantly the installers wife is on the mend. We would recommend Stone Innovations for your counter/remodeling needs.

Our request was a bit unconventional; we had all the granite in a handful of pieces already and needed help cutting, joining and polishing edges. We wanted to have this done at our home because we had limited pieces, they fit our counter space only one way (sides weren't same length/depth), and were afraid if done in a shop there would be a high chance for a mis-cut, and we'd be SOL. A handful of companies seemed confused and didn't like that we wouldn't be purchasing the material through them. Most also refused to do it outside of the shop, given the dust and lack of transferable equipment. George, however, although weary of the dust as well, came to the house to check everything out and agreed to do it at our home with my husband's help. Just the two of them, we bought the appropriate masks/filters they spent every bit of 12 hours working their tails off. George was extremely focused on quality, emphasizing the importance he places on the details, down to matching the filler color as close to the granite as possible. This is a man with incredible work ethic, and appreciation for kind people. He was grateful for my husband's help for the duration of the project. We couldn't be happier with how our kitchen turned out and can't recommend George enough! He will definitely be our go-to guy for our future home needs. I made two costly mistakes: trusting the Google reviews and paying the balance before the project…read morewas fully completed. Three months later, I am still waiting for issues to be resolved, with limited to no communication from the company. Multiple doors and drawer fronts were manufactured in the wrong sizes and need replacement. Four additional doors were finished incorrectly. To make matters worse, the hardware holes throughout the project were drilled crooked, causing doors and drawers to be visibly misaligned. The installers were friendly, but friendliness does not make up for poor workmanship, lack of quality control, and inadequate follow-through on warranty and service issues. Had I seen a review describing these kinds of problems before hiring this company, I would have looked elsewhere. In my experience, the biggest issue appears to be the new ownership and the decline in quality and customer service that has followed.

You can tell everything this is extremely high quality, and you sure will pay for it. We landed on two favorites so Sam, who was helping us, sent over quotes of each based on our project. We'll need our island covered and the entire perimeter. It's nice there are different finishing and edge options for different parts of the job. I'll report back on how install goes, but so far KG has been nothing but easy to work with with solid customer service.

He never returned to fix the mess he made of our floor. So, yes, we called the police and took this thief to court. We won the court case because we had documentation and photos. Granted he didn't show to court, which also shows lack of character and still has not paid judgement. We are going to lien assets if judgement isn't paid in 30 days of this post. He showed up 2 hours late on the first day, and got the job started. The late start meant he couldn't get as much done the first day as he wanted. We made plans to meet early the next morning to finish the work. He never showed. He has never responded to a dozen attempts to contact him via email, phone, and text. He left the countertop uncut and with the front edge unfinished and several puddles of epoxy on the floor which won't come up. I had to do my best to finish the job, myself. I hope he is okay and nothing bad happened to make it impossible to finish the job. If that isn't the case, I'd say just move on. Not worth paying for a job to be started and left in the middle.
