Sort of like you can't buy a car until you first purchase a truck from the dealer. Explained that this is an insurance job and we wanted to do counter first and then the floor (solid wood). Both purchases to be finalized in the next week or two. The two jobs would have been 20-25 thousand dollars total. She said that's not how they do business. Customer must purchase the floor first. Ignorance and greed at it's very best. Apparently they are making oodles of money and don't want to do anything outside of their business model. The profit from our purchase would go a long way to paying expenses when times get slow. We did go to another retailer. Purchased and arranged for counter top. We've found multiple issues with both the carpet and vinyl plank flooring. Getting the Installer to come fix the issue he caused was frustrating; we were never given a date or time, and we never even received a phone call or text to make us aware he was coming, he just showed up one day. Abhorrent customer service on the part of the installer.

After a delay of a couple of weeks and more than 1 call, Craig came out to measure. In addition, we made 2 changes to the "quality level" deciding on Level 1 & 2 rather than Level 3 that was initially purchased. He said he'd call back that day to give us a quote. Well, after a few days, we called him. He ended up quoting us a price that was higher than we thought it should be. Turns out he used Level 3 pricing when it should've been Levels 1 & 2. We pointed this out and, again, he said he'd call us back in about 15 minutes. Well, guess what? The call never came and we purchased carpet from Menards and had a local installer do it for about 1/2 the quoted price.
