I ended up dragging a tall ladder/scaffolding thingy and climbing up myself. Thankfully not less than 3 CUSTOMERS offered to help me get my mirrors. And they did; thanks to all of those wonderful folks. It makes my heart happy to find so many kind strangers. The staff at this place gets a 0 for service but the customers get a 10! There is a huge selection of home goods and I plan to return for rugs and decor, but I'm steering clear of the staff. First, let's just get this out the way: their website (as of late 2013) is awful. It's like the internet circa 1997. Bad. But their retail location is large, pretty, with parking at both sides of their building (it's on a corner). The interior cordons off the wallpaper book "library" to the back where staff help consult shoppers like me looking for inspiration. But each time I've been there, it usually takes *several* minutes for someone to help and the staff have been more helpful than not, however English language skills are a lacking for some staff. This was less an attitude problem than a language thing. Anyway, I'm giving this a three star rating which might seem harsh, but that's exactly what I think makes sense: One Of A Kind stocks lots of wallpaper and interior textiles, with books available for research and product available for order, but it's not above-and-beyond.

From art prints, jewelry, soaps, t shirts etc. All with the eccentric flair that Wynwood is known for. "Mass Production" is a curse word here. Purchases from here are certainly unique and one of a kind. Come in and get a gift for someone that is as special as they are. Or treat yourself. The Wynwood Shop began in an alleyway in 2013 and many of the artists who hand make the wares displayed in their store on NW 35th Street have been with them since the beginning. Upon walking in I was impressed with how bright and open the store was. The walls are lined with an eclectic assortment of jewelry, accessories, clothes, and art. I even found some that were on sale. You can find even more sale items at their online store. Some of it was interesting like the Barbie earrings and David Bowie necklace but my favorites were the unique sunglasses and delicate bead necklaces. This is a cool place to stop in when you are walking around Wynwood. You may pick up a unique gift or a little something shiny for yourself.
