Rude customer service. They will take the time to leave snarky responses to online reviews, but not respond to email or voicemail.

While the location is beautiful and the staff were wonderful, this isn't our favourite winery in the province. We did a tasting which was awkwardly presented in shot glasses which we found quite tacky. Nothing in the tasting really stood out and we didn't end up buying a bottle of anything because the tastings are set. You can't really choose off the menu because not everything is available to try. We came for the annual Christmas in Petite, so it was quite busy and many wines weren't available which was a bummer. It would have been nice to select our own options to sample as there is a cost, so not sure we'll make the trip down from the Valley unless it's another annual event. The terrace is really lovely but the furniture could use some updating. Some cute bistro sets would be nice instead of overly bulky chairs and benches that are tough to move. Service was great and friendly so no complaints there. Overall, still worth visiting for location and the scenery, but as wine drinkers, this is pretty low on our list of faves simply because there wasn't much to try that we were interested in.

The grapes are all from the local area vineyards. Pretty nice product for a young wine making region. Also they make some very nice ciders, both dry, sweet and fruit added styles. So on your next visit, stop in, and on weekends they have a local food cart using local beef, pork and have vegan offering too! The food is great also! Enjoy your visit!

Seems like a space that would transition to a local watering hole later that evening. A great menu, lots of classics and some gluten free options. The seafood chowder was really good, the haddock was also very good, would have like some fries but no gf frier. The washrooms weren't spotless, more pub style than restaurant. Definitely a great spot to have a bite and a drink.

A great spot - my other food favourite in Bridgewater, N.S…read more I take photographs for a living and I once lived near here (Bridgewater) but now I am often on the other side of the country. But I still like great tasting food and yet my lunch still can't cost me the same as a car payment. So when I'm in my little home town and I'm after some interesting food that is prepared well and by folks who know how to please a big hungry guy. This is a go to for me. In a pub I want the following and in this order / cold beer not necessarily alcoholic , good tasting food choices that tastes like the proprietor would eat there. He does ! I'm 6 feet 4" I'm after well prepared salads and I want crisp fresh fixings with choices of dressings and various protein things I can leave in or out - onions not my favourite - but hey that's me. These guys are pros - totally. The guy who owns that place knows his craft - well ! He's focused on the job - he hires good people with the same philosophy - I like this guys attitude. Never once been offered sub standard grub. Nope these guys are smart and proud of what the cook has just made only seconds before the front end staff rushed it to my table. I often have the specials - a rescent trip 5000 kms back to Bridgewater gave me an opportunity to try their fish special and then another time the pulled pork. Each with an interesting crisp side salad. Cold .5 beer - so I can still focus when I'm done. So 10/10 ? Absolutely delicious - and yet very reasonably priced. My two prime YET not only concern's. I like focused staff, smart conversation and professional pride in one's job. That's this place. The River Pub - North side of King St. near the new bridge east of Victoria Rd I've not found a better Pub in town. Now remember your thirsty and hungry - these guys can solve that.
