This last time I called they gave me an appointment & just said sorry we double booked come back at 5 , what a waste of my time & gas coming out to Gardena. Not to mention they could've offered something for this not being the first time they've done this to me. I love the girls work but the double booking issue is completely unprofessional time is just as valuable as money. Probably won't be coming back after years of coming here.

I booked a wispy set and specifically asked for a soft wispy cat-eye look. mind you i did tell her dark but me thinking she was going to make them dark at the ends for the cat eye and the spikes , but I didn't expect BOLD AND SUPER BLACK. Before the appointment, I showed multiple reference pictures and was hoping that she would understand that I have lighter/feminine features and didn't want anything super dark or heavy. Although the lashes themselves were not badly done, they looked nothing like what I requested. I ended up with a very bold mega volume look that did not flatter my face at all. It completely changed my appearance in a way I wasn't comfortable with. I reached out respectfully afterward and explained that they were too bold and not what I asked for, especially since this was my first lash experience. I asked if she could accommodate me with a removal or some kind of correction, but I was told I would have to pay again for both the removal and a new set. For $120, I expected better communication and a result closer to the references I provided. If you like very bold/full lash styles, her work may work for you, but if you want a softer wispy cat-eye look, I would be cautious and make sure you discuss it very thoroughly beforehand.

For more than five years, I had been a loyal customer of this business and referred over 10 people…read moreto them because I trusted their services. During one of my visits, I experienced a situation where an employee was speaking about me in another language, and it made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. Based on the interaction, I felt that I was being treated differently, and I believed there may have been racial bias involved. I brought my concerns to the owner, hoping to resolve the issue professionally. Instead, I was told that I was no longer welcome at the business because I had missed an appointment. That missed appointment occurred while my grandmother was hospitalized, and I believe the circumstances were not taken into consideration. The owner also told me that the staff had held a meeting about me, which made the situation even more upsetting. After my experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this business, and I wanted to share what happened so others can make their own informed decisions before choosing to go I also want to mention that a similar situation happened to my friend, who is also a person of color. Based on both of our experiences, I believe there is a pattern in how customers of color are treated. Dora was also very rude and unprofessional throughout these interactions. My father is an attorney, and he will be taking legal action regarding my experience with this business. My friends are also looking for new lash techs and will no longer support business . They just lost a lot of customers The owner reached out and is still not taking accountability. I told them that I had an issue and they never acknowledged the discrimination that I faced. Second of all I've sent many customers there and I've always been on time during the grace period . So don't make an excuse as if that's the problem. Third of all, I've only gone to Chelsea and only liked Chelsea so they could've continued to book me with her instead discredit my feelings and told me that I wasn't welcome because I brought an issue to them now they want to respond because they know that they are wrong and again we will be taking legal matters. Also, now I have proof that you just told somebody that they said that they were discriminated and not to make that as an excuse that's worse on you. I also reached out to the business several times trying to resolve it through text and they blocked me and never Responded, They're only acknowledging me because it makes their business look bad me and me and Chelsea never had issues. She would even talk to me about her kids schooling troubles, so you're making up excuses. That was a troubling experience however I have found a salon, more professional, and the quality is way better than Moon Lash. Please take your money somewhere else. They do not acknowledge you and it is not worth it. When I shared my experience, they couldn't believe that happened. They have never had to tell a customer because of a complaint. They are no longer welcome.
