I will tell you that if we had drank more going to the bathroom, would've been a harrowing experience as the bathroom is located upstairs up a very narrow, steep stairwell. What is great about this place are the terrific views. Not many tourists come here, but surprisingly the staff does not speak any Dutch. They are Italian and told me they are trying to learn. Normally, I get a bit annoyed but this lady was so sweet. I spilled some tomato on my white dress and she gave me a sponge with hot water and soap. A lot of people buy there coffee and sandwich to go and then hop on the ferry. But if the weather is nice it is wonderful to sit on the terrace and look at the water, the boats and the amazing skies. Hard to imagine that you ard only 5 minutes away from the Central Station. Definitely worth a visit!

You'd think Anthony Bourdain would be up to something if he dropped by this place. Everything seemed fitting for a romantic evening out. You've got servers ready to bounce at you with your order, a candlelit table, and restrooms that offer fancy towels, lotion, and even cologne... or maybe someone left it there by accident? Either way, they certainly live up to their reputation for bougieness. We would've ordered an entire three course meal. However, we came here for one thing only- their charcuterie plate. Meats. Cheeses. Bread. That's all we really wanted, and it was fantastic. Their prosciutto was extremely tasty and the selection of cheeses to match were fab. We got a sense that the wait staff were a bit annoyed that we only ordered their €30 charcuterie board, but hey, they're known for such and I will attest that it was good.
