But today you redeemed yourself 92.3 you have been playing very good tunes, and no miguelito talking. I dont know where this guy got his Media Degree from or if he has one, but his speech, his voice, and when he talks he has numerous AHS Uhms, through out commercials, events, and live on the radio. How can you let someone so unprofessional work that way. That Dj doesnt have a DJ voice, he makes many errors when talking, one time we couldnt stop laughing in the office when he mentioned Kelly Clarkston instead of Clarkson. I dont know if its a language barrier thing or its a gimmick but its sad. You should put an appropriate dj or a proper algorithm on auto it be better than that guy who only lines his pockets with a paycheck And that gut with way Too may delicious things to eat.

All those AHs and UMMS from a "dj" during the promotion, he spent over 10 babbling nonsense and some sense but mostly nonsense, he rants and strays off the subject matter, and he never said where the event was. He thanked the guest and even the guest was clueless it was an excruciating 10 mins of them both babbling away with no regard to announcing where the event takes place just when. Plus that guest and his stuttering gosh, it makes it hard to listen to both of them, one stutters and the other with lots of Uhms and Ahs in between words it was horrible. I dont know where these businesses get these people to promote but I guess if its cheap labor minimum wage and such then you get way you pay for. But if they are getting paid well hmmm these businesses are losing money its hard, and sad to have heard them talk.

Enough with the PSAs that tell me how bad a person I am because I don't care that 1/8 of America is starving, or you need to talk to your kids, or some other cause. Jeez, its just the same free ads over and over again. If not, they run ads about how hard core the station is with sports, sports, sports, yet they still run inane infomercials on the weekends about some vitamin supplements. And while you're at it, produce some new station promos and get rid of the SFX "Go Hard Core." It's just silly and cheesy. I can tell its the same voice you use on all the other house ads. And pay attention!! Steve Kaplowitz has a very good local sports show on the competition and you got nothing to compare with that. Also, hire a production manager and stop running national commercials on top of local PSAs. This is basic radio. Slogan for the station: Sports Fans Listen to Us, because they have to.

This radio station carries a lot of the nationally syndicated programming, but also has some local and semi-local programming from Austin- the Texas Standard, and Frontera, a program about the border and its culture. It's a great station to listen to- I'm sure you can even pick up this station from Mexico to New Mexico! My favorite part of the local station is all the student DJs who aren't as smooth as the DJs you hear on major stations. This radio station still has that small town vibe to it. You can pick up this station at 88.5 FM. As far as I know, KTEP doesn't play requests. Give 'em a call anyhow and ask 'em to play some Skynyrd.
