The learning material is of course a little bit old, but it is enough to learn windsurfing. After surfing you can drink in the club house a coffee or beer and wait for the next wind. Best direction for the lake is West / North West wind. Otherwise, I would recommend Oolderplas at the other end of Roermond. So five stars for the location, the club members and the atmosphere. They have many different sections of walls around the big open warehouse type of building and 2 round sections in the center. The paddings are thick and in excellent condition. They have long benches everywhere to watch and wait for your turn. There is also a bar that sells sandwiches, coffee, espresso, beer, tea, juices, water, candy, chips, etc. Around the bar area, lots of tables and chairs to sit, read magazines/books, eat, or just chat. The fee is also not bad. We bought the punch card for 10 visits. My sons really like this place.
