I hate doing plumbing; but this place made this job bearable. Not a huge store; but it seems well stocked with all kinds of needed stuff. Hardware Hanks also has a service department with a 5 star reputable mechanic. He repairs anything with a motor in a reasonable time and price. I was very pleased with the atmosphere of friendly locals stopping in to shop. They greeted me with a warm smile and I felt welcomed to the area. They are related to "Walters do it Best" in Algoma. Like that store this is a pretty complete store. They have a rental service as well. The people here are friendly and knowledgeable. I came here to rent a rototiller for a few hours. $10.00 an hour was the cost. I was impressed with the wide selection of garden tractors, chain saws, lawn mowers, and snow blowers displayed. I left with the rental and a new lawnmower as well. This is my new go to lawn and garden store. Just a couple miles out of town, it beats the 30 mile drive to a larger city.
